It is the best all around weapon. Is good at short range if you have a quick hull, is amazing at medium range, and is good at long range. Whereas Rail and Shaft rock long range, are good at medium, and suck at close range. And all the close range turrets aren't even usable past short range.

Very true. Thunder has the most balanced gameplay. Too bad Smoky isn't so good long range anymore  -_-

Well thunders damage is coming back but as of right now I'm not gonna get m3 I did want it but then the balance came :angry: so I went with buying the m3 light kit instead

Smoky is nothing anymore. Really bad , cause i used it before the recent rebalance.

Smoky will always be something. Its the people who are nothing anymore. Ok, Smoky isn't good long-range, after the RB, well then be the bigger man and use it in short-range maps! So what if the critical decreased dramatically. You shouldn't have ever used/liked it for its crits. Step up and learn to use it properly WITHOUT crits. Hmm, it seems you haven given up on this turret.
