Of the 20 people in the game, 15 of us had Thunder.

There is a topic for such questions you know. I don't understand why people don't use them. Thunder is outclassed by Smoky and Twins at M2. Viking would be much better than Hornet. I would say Smoky/Viking.

Can you explain this logic to me?  Thunder m2 unlocks much earlier than smoky, by the time you can buy smoky m2 you are only one rank away from getting thunder m3.  I just don't see what the advantage is.

Well if you think of it rank wise, then yes Thunder is better. But for the price, Smoky is better because of how much your weapon's stats increase. M2 Thunder is 110k for 5 more damage and slight increases in range, reload etc while for 132k (I believe; I haven't checked it for a while), Smoky gets a crap load more powerful.

 

I personally do not take rank requirements into consideration when making a choice. If I did, I wouldn't want Rico, Fire, Wasp, Dictator and Mammoth. They only think I would have is Thunder. And let's not forget the saying good things come to those who wait.

Thunder sucks for me, I have apparently no skill with it. I hate its reload time, that sucks, and it's splash damage, which can damage yourself when you're fighting close range combat.
