What does have to do with Thunder becoming an inefficient long-range weapon, and Smoky acting as an actual long range weapon? (if they ever get updated)

there will be always thunder protections on battlefield :mellow:

if i drugg with something,i would do it with smoky,because almost nobody uses protection :D

Thunder, one of my favorites. Deals huge amount of damage by splash. If you don't like thunder yet, just wait for a group of four people and shoot, you get the rush when they all blow up within your one shot! With thunder you can shoot someone you don't see with splash simply go forward, stop and shoot you'll get a downward angle and your shot will hit the ground. With splash damage it can damage them without seeing it coming! One of the best weapons in my opinion.

I was in a Highland TDM (the ranks were from WO2 to 1st Lieutenant) with tons of Thunders, but not many Thunder protection paints. You can guess what combo I pulled out: M1 Dictator/M1 Thunder/Cedar.

 

To say the least, I managed to rack up a good D/L ratio. The other team was mostly M1 Vikings (there was one M0 Hunter and one M1 Titan), and my Thunder went to town on them. Cedar paint, the massive health of M1 Dictator, and a Double Armor (they were drugging, so I could counter drug) reduce Thunder damage to the level of a non-crit Smoky, and I could hold my own against about 3 enemies at the same time.
