Only reason people say Smoky > Thunder is B/C more DPS. I have to agree on this. I did calculations.

I say Thunder > Smoky B/C more DPS on multiple targets. (ouch GG Smoky)

Meh I use both depending of map, oponenets, gamemode and my mood. When I'm mad I use Thunder to blow'em up

Sure, it has more DPS on multiple targets, but Thunder doesn't have nearly as much impact force as Smoky. Smoky's impact force allows it to slaughter Railguns and Shafts (other turrets as well, but these are affected the most) en masse, since they'll find it really hard to get a bead on you.

gg wp no re Thunder

Thunder has comparable impact force. It's not as strong as Smoky, but it aimed correctly, it can have the same effects (if you mean shooting at corners)

Rustle, ruining thunder gameplay since it has Thunder protection.

Beating up every other thunder since he got m2 and rustle

Same

Maybe at M1 and even M2, but M3 Thunder is very powerful

soz if I use a brick to flatten a grilled cheese sandwich and it still tastes gooey and delicious, why should I care if I get the same result from a professional sandwich presser

it takes longer to go to a professional sandwich press than finding a brick/medium sized rock (this is beside the point tbh)

To walk into your house and plug a press into the outlet which can make 3 at a time takes more time to go look all around for a brick that only grills one at a time? (Like the grilled cheese metaphor --- I love those)

My point was that if the recoil of Thunder screws up a Rail's aiming, why does it matter that a Smoky can do the same thing?

Smoky has a faster reload, so you'll be less likely to be caught reloading when screw up a Railgun's aiming. I've tried many times to do that with Thunder, and it hasn't worked out well. When I do use Railgun, Thunder is often my least concern.

By that logic, Twins is the best at ruining a Rail's shot.

That's actually not that far from the truth in my experience, since Twins has more impact force per second than Thunder. I find it hard to get a bead on a Twins user if I'm using my Railgun on a light hull, while Thunders usually don't have enough impact force to mess up my aim much.
