Thunder is powerful while team mates are with you, but when your alone, you die instantly, they need to improve thunder it can't defend it's self.

which weapon can defend itself alone? i can only think of twins m3

isida and freeze really lacks range a lot and cant be put on light hulls if it really wants to ''defend'' itself

But guns are helping to the defence anyway.

The slow reload time worries me because there are so many turrets out there with faster times. That means unless you surprise the enemy he will beat you to that second shot and kill you.

The self damage worries me but I feel like this is my own fault for using thunder in maps which are too small for it like Rio, Sandbox, and Noise, where close quarters battles are the norm.

On the other hand I did have one good time in Rio when I camped out on the shelf and picked off almost a dozen bewildered enemy tanks who had no idea where the damage was coming from. Noobs.

This is IMO Thunder's biggest advantage over other high damage weapons like rail and shaft. The enemy does NOT know where the damage is coming from. Use this in combination with a bit of distance and cat n mouse tactics and you will take in kills.

I see a lot of comparisons between Thunder and Rico with Rico usually winning. I tend to agree that Rico is more versatile, intimidating, and effective. But I think this is due in part to how Rico can be used... At close range. Thunder definitely has a place... At medium range. Tailing back to the self damage concerns... Playing a distance game helps there too.

Hide in some heavy bushes , with lead paint, and just launch chaos with Thunder. You will be blowing people up and nobody will know where from.

so I was in a no supplies battle that allows micro-upgrade yesterday, using thunder m4 I could not 2 shot a wasp in tiger at close range.. Either that dude is cheating or this game is broken.
