I've seen that and yes it is effective, but soon folks will figure it out. You'll start getting picked off by shafts and rails, and firebirds will sneak up behind you and toast you across your minefield.

Nope,you need the opposite,deffensive

Polygon is a map full of enemies,they can come from behind the corner,a mobile hull will make their life easier,while the heavy one can carry you up to 3-4 kills if you got the Paint and upgrades..It`s just all about how well you can cover

I agree, and my earlier point about shafts rails and firebird is actually pretty stupid. Those tanks are coming after you no matter where you are in Polygon. Survival depends on your armor. Not saying a light hull is impossible, but much more difficult.

What is the best paint for thunder m1? 

I will buy thunder m1 at this christmas sale, and Ill use thunder m1 + Viking m1 or mammoth m1. 

But just tell me the best paint that WO4 can get. I'm about to lvl up so.

I've been using Corrosion, but I play a lot on Massacre where there are no walls so it makes Ricochet less effective and the short-range turrets would be unable to hide very much as well.

Thunder is a very good turret and should be in every tankers arsenal.

As of now, I can only get m1 but am going to get m2 as soon as its available, as it is my go-to turret for any battle.

As for the paint, I use metallic (I fully upgraded mine) but after m1 it does not really do any thing but guard you from the splash.

I fully agree. I only use hornet when using thunder because its stable, fast, and the amor is not bad. ;)

Hornet is still popular at General ranks. So are Vikings and Mammoths for that matter. Hunters, Titans, and Wasps are all but gone.

 

Thunder is still used despite the NERF. Great for kill stealing and DD usage. I'm starting to see XT versions too. They look good but I'm not paying for looks.

I've been using Viking/Thunder 90% of the time since Sgt Major. It can take some punishment and is both mobile and stable.

Thunder works with all hulls except for Wasp. Even Thunder/Hornet is somewhat playable.

Cedar is a good choice as it has 32% Thunder resistance and is rather cheap. I'm not sure about the unlock rank though but i assume its WO4.

EDIT: Its WO5 sorry. If you can't up then consider buying corrosion.

my only 2 m4 at gismo account is dictator and thunder...

And that is my dream tank which  i use B)!

And i can splash damage about 2  or 3 if well positioned shot or even more if all in the middle of CP (but that needs luck...)

Yeah, my focus isnt MUing right now, its expanding my garage. I may get it in the future, but I doubt it since I like smoky better :)

Dictator-Thunder on a Polygon CP. It's not very good for taking the point, so I mostly sat back, picked enemies off, and bombarded the point with splash damage. I think our team had another Dictator Thunder, and the rest of my teammates were using Firebird or Freeze. Lots of multi kills were to be had.

Thunder vs smoky? Does thunder also need to be on DD to be good like smoky? Also is it still good in higher ranks like marshal? Is it worth the crystals? Good at midfield? And some defense? And is it good on wasp cuz I love wasp xD
