I think is a godd turret, but it just isn't the best. My favorite short distance weapon is freeze, and my favorite long distance is shaft.

Question about Splash damage:

 

When you are really close to your opponent and you shoot him frontally. Is there or isn 't there "extra damage"?

 

With the extra damage I mean the first normal damage done by the shockwave/ splash is on the opponents hull,

than it reflects to your hull and you receive self-damage, is the shockwave at that moment at his end or

does it reflect a final (weaker) time to your opponent and does it than inflict the "extra damage"?

 

Or is it just because you are "hugging" your enemy, the shockwave/ splash can 't "escape" and your

opponent gets the full blow of it, so normal damage at it 's maximum?

 

So the question is: is it just the normal damage at it 's maximum? Or is there some "extra damage", let 's say

something of 1.5 times the normal damage?

I can't wait for M2 Thunder, very close now... I'm getting steadily more jealous as other pople get M2 and M2. I think I will certainly notice a difference between M1 and M2 after using M1 for so long.

Why do you use Jaguar so much with Hornet? The main protections it gives are against close-range guns which won't get close to you often and even then they won't help much because Firebird and Freeze both have enough charge you kill you even with the protections...

Nah freeze protection helps , to some extent at least . I once stopped an isida and freeze hornet from taking our flag while another freeze hornet was freezing me! Best part was when I turned and killed him in one shot. :p

Because I do - you don't know what my battles are like and I can bet you don't play TDMs often. Don't tell me close-range turrets don't come up to my base. And also, who says I don't go down there to attack? You're going on assumptions. Also, the same can be said for a lot of the protections yet people still get them - why? Because it's USEFUL. Though it may still be able to kill us, we're given more time to kill them.

So, are you now telling me who attacks me in my battles? Or are you instead saying not everyone is trying to have a go at me? You didn't make it clear.

My post was not "assumptious" (not sure if that's a real word, the red squiggly line comes up when I type it) in any way - in actual fact, Revilo was the one assuming there.

One could also say you're assuming - you actually think I react in such a way for every scenario, good or bad? 

This is the way I speak - sharp, concise (to an extent) and blunt. Deal with it.
