Most loooong battles I enter when they are halfways or further. Mind you a Thunder kills fast as you well know!

The first one was really from the start and way too long...but nice!

That battle actually I also had 2 Goldboxes from 3000 crystals. So a total gain of almost 23.000 crystals in one battle... :)

 

As I said before: a lot of players leave these long battles before the end: leaving behind the crystals

they could have earned...thanks a lot! :D

Being in one 999 battle from the start, I can tell you a 999 battle without drugs is going to take you at least 5 hours.

WITH drugs, take an hour off.

First I simply like to play! Most of the times, after a certain period, you really get into a "flow", a sort of

trance, where you play better than you would in a normal shorter battle. At least that is what I experience.

 

And I enter those 999 battles not anymore from the start. It must at least be halfways.

At that time you got "dedicated" players who won 't leave the battle anymore and the huge amount of crystals

keeps attracting the vultures (me included :) ) so the gamefund keeps growing. Which is not bad at all.

Yep, I understand completely. I've been in my fair share of high kill required to win battles (not though 999 as such, more 444-666)

They are nice too for sure and can be easier entered earlier. And you still get into the "groove"!

 

What I do with a 999 (or a bit less) is write down the server on which that DM battle (mostly Polygon) takes place,

and visit the particular server after some time.

When the battle is halfways or more and all the places are filled, it 's just waiting for the first player to

leave and enter the battle. Always works like a charm.

 

General tip: make regular screenshots on long battles, you need a proof if there is an technical error.

Luckily I did not have errors for a long time, but I still remember an early 999 I did, when close to the end

I had a Fatal Error.....yes I complained....but no nothing: no proof, no crystals and no happy!

I would be pretty easy if you can do NSB most of the time too... drugs really slow things down when the opposition keeps using heals all the time.

Yesterday I got banned on my main Smok-Ti-Thun. And rightfully so.

 

A good moment for a fresh start, and to avoid the mistakes I made in the past.

 

I will not go into details, but I already did a full ignore in the settings, which will already help a lot. 

If problems do arise again, I will take it to the forum-moderators instead of

trying to resolve an issue like I had with a certain person myself.

 

My other main-account will continue now: Lord-of-the-Snipers

Thunder M0 is not the best gun to start your carreer. If you want to play the skill-demanding Thunder a good path IMO is: first you take Smoky M0, very cheap gun. ;)

Zero crystals but not that good either, but you learn to shoot well with it. Lots of shots and easy aiming. 

 

Than you take the M1 upgrade of Smoky. This is a real gemstone! OP at his ranks and the ideal practice gun! No problem to get to WO4 and Thunder M1 with this little wonder. When you are WO4 get the Thunder M1 (discount) but keep it in the garage for now.

 

Still you are ready to play with Thunder, but first the M0.

Sam is right though: Thunder M0 is "not that good", but if you take Thunder M0 on a practice account after a long time playing with Smoky M1, you can make this gun work!

And you better do, because you can go Thunder M1 at once, but than you are not in a "healthy" environment to learn how to deal with Thunder.

If you start from zero again, you got all the time to make mistakes and your opponents will not be as skilled as they will be at WO4.

So you will learn fast and quick.

 

If you understand the Splash damage and you can make it work, only than go to battle with the Thunder M1.

Congratulations, because now you have a very OP weapon at WO4+ ánd it is now in skilled hands. Time for Thunder M1 havoc on the battlefield!

Don 't know, but thanks for asking.

 

It is good though, because I want to make a new start. So I am not planning to use Smok-Ti-Thun again.

 

This LotS account has also become my first main account because of the Medium M2 kit. :)

 

Pro battles with the Lord very soon, but first ranking with Smok for a discounted Rico M2.

Taking the easy paths.... ;)

Well just accidentally found out that Smok seems unlocked, so one more try: than again I will not use it anymore.

 

It 's the first name that pops up when signing in at the forum, so I have to change it now to LotS.
