Reading this I get this vision of a rising Darth Vader: everything starts to shake and rumble.....your worst nightmare arises! :wacko:

 

Maybe this is what our opponents have to go through each and every single battle where a Thunder appears? If so I pity them! :D

thunder m3 shouldn't unlocked at brigadier rank -_- too powerful at that rank. only isida and thunder is m3 at brigadier

the difference beetwen m2 and m3 thunder is small,so m3 unlocks earlier :)

I'm less than 16,000 crystals away from buying it at full price. There's a lot of other combos I need to get - that's only ONE reason why I'm not going to get it full price. But I think I'll be able to afford it full price by the time the sale for it comes. And I hopefully should be able to get Hornet the week after.

How do you guys find battles where you are the highest rank? I have a hard time finding them. And just a rank above me rail m3 and isida m3 play spoilsport everytime. Today was so bad :( Even XP's were ruined by noobs. Just made 3 k for a lot of XP.

Pretty often - almost all the time. Sometimes it goes up to Major General, which I can deal with. When I get M3 Thunder, I'll play up to General.

 

However, it's rare that:

 

- Most of the people in there are of a Lieutenant rank, with M1/M1. That's why if you get M2 Thunder at the rank it unlocks, you're pretty OP.

I been using Viking with Thunder in DM's. Playing Desert been placing in top 5 every time...last 3 games was 3rd, 4th and 1st. The fourth place finish was because when I was in 2nd, the guy in 1st and I got into a personal drug war at the expense of both our scores...he came in 3rd.

I'll use Smoky for DMs since there isn't as much protection (Savannas are rare and Needles still aren't seen as much as Rustle and Emeralds) with Titan and Hohloma. I think that combo's a winner.

When you do, use that combo exactly (Hohloma) - would be interested to see how it fares in a Desert/Polygon DM and if the paint's a big help or not.

I sure will. I usually like Hohloma, 22% Freeze helps a lot on heavy hulls and Smoky protection helps quite a lot when you are hit by a critical hit. Rico is rare but when you see them they don't do much damage.

There's plenty of Thunder M1 users dominating battles at my rank, and both paints have thunder protection, but corrosion's protection is less than cedar's thunder protection, and from what I heard from other players, cedar is OP at WO5 but corrosion looks cooler. So which one should I get?

Yup, I would never go for Corrosion, because although it does look pretty good, it only offers small amounts of protection for several turrets, whereas Cedar offers substantial protection from Thunder, (and I think it looks decent too).

Don't smokies get kill stolen a lot? I have seen them in Gn DM' s and they work very well, I just don't understand how. I mean you can't rely on crits all the time and they aren't that common to compete in DM's.

That would apply in general then - it would be difficult for Smokies to get any points in other modes if they got kill-stolen so often, as you say. If you think this way, why do you want it? I've seen many Smokies compete in Deathmatches of our rank and win.

I got thunder m3 , I regret planning on any other turret because thunder can last forever in your garage

The tank density per unit area (<---lel *technical terms*) in a ctf is a lot less than in a DM like polygon. Therefore, more people have a chance of stealing your kills.

But yes it still works wonders in DM's. Guess I'll just shadow a smoky guy and find out how. :p

I got rustle, am I a noob too? -_- If so you better start planning on being one also if you wanna last 2 sec in front of the mighty thunder.:p

 

And refresh my memory again wasn't smoky viking THE combo according to you?
