Exactly. He knows I'm a Freeze guy too. He can rationalise it all he wants but the fact of the matter is, if I'm behind a Thunder, he/she is done.

 

He can't really move the turret if he's frozen. Buggati, next time, before you speak, connect the tongue to the brain.

Aww c'mon guys.....I like Thunder...it's more of a challenge!......I can usually contribute pretty good scores to the team ...I would like it to be a little more powerful considering it's low rate of fire compared to these sci fi weapons! ;)

Well the low rate of fire is needed because the thunder already does a really good amount of damage per shot.

I think its something crazy like M0 thunder has around the same damage as M3 smokey per shot.

Ok I used thunder again for one more chance and put it on titan m3 with emerald paint.  I actually got a ton of kills in silence by going up on blue teams ramp and just blasting all of the flag campers :)  Have to say that was fun because they were hard to kill with other weapons because they had isidas healing them, thunder took out the isidas with splash pretty quick.

That's why I wouldn't recommend using Wasp with Thunder. If you're in a close range fight, you're going to kill yourself before you kill your enemy.

 

I use Thunder with either Hornet (if I need to cover a lot of ground) or Dictator (if I need to midfield for a while). Dictator can take a good amount of punishment, so I don't have to worry too much about self damage.

@Killerpenguin: Love your name, but man your opinions kill me. Why can you use Thunder on Hornet but not Wasp? Plus Wasp has more speed to get you OUT of range (self-splash has been signifigantly decreased) of all the Hornets everywhere.

 

With Wasp, it's your job to stay OUT of close range fights.
