Every year there is some type of Valentines Day Sale. Last year it happened to be firebird, and luckily, this year it will also be firebird. Personally I'm hoping for like a 50% sale on everything, so I can get a paint.

If there's a 25% sale, I won't be able to get Fire M2 though :( After seeing my team being repeatedly demolished by firebirds, I finally decided to get start saving up for it :D

Since last year there was a 50% sale, it wouldn't make sense if this year we had a 25% sale. I'm sort of taking a gamble, though.

So after server update, I made my daily sandbox CTF 15min. The first few rounds went great with rail/hornet. Some guy with hornet/rail m2 startled me, even though he was on my team, he looked cool and deadly. Turns out, hes a pretty terrible railer. When I switched teams he could not get ANY shots on me. I kept killing him, and killing him. The ratio between my kills on him to his kills on me was at least 5-1. So what did he start doing? Drugging. Thats when the match sucked and we all left.

Yeah, I hate that so much. It's really annoying when not only does someone rub it in your face that they bought crystals to get their tank better than you, they also have to drug to make themselves unstoppable.

A lot of druggers dont have skills, so they need drugs to improve. They should not be using rail though, because drugs cant improve that horrible aim.

A lot of druggers dont have skills, so they need drugs to improve. They should not be using rail though, because drugs cant improve that horrible aim.

You can even become a Generalissimo with hardly any skills, but with the aid of huge amounts of drugs.

Drugs can certainly and will make you feel strong and invincible, but the nasty thing with drugs is you have to keep using them.

Otherwise the "fairy tale" is over....

Micro-upgrades are called a (expensive) trap, well drugs certainly are!

 

Drugging high-rankers without proper skills, can never stop their addiction because than they would fail terribly.

So no Pro-Battles for those players. And those 5000 crystals you have to pay? Dirt cheap compared to hardcore drugging.

Only problem with Pro-Battles is you got to have at least an M2 hull and M2 turret to have a good chance in battles.

 

Now we have the contest between Devs and players. Well I might hope that the players at least are no hardcore druggers,

because in fair-play games there is ofcourse no drugs allowed....even the Devs seem to know that.

^ Yeah, agreed. That first part reminds me of this one gen poly DM when I was a WO5. I was using rail/hunter m1 and some guy at the other end was using mammoth/rail m3, m3! And his skills reflected badly upon his equipment. I shot him many times while he shot me once. Then he realized I was going to kill him so he backed up and hided. He eventually killed me with drugs.

This is my favorite gun to use on m1 hornet, I get killed by it so much that I bought the tundra paint to save me!!!

Same. Hornet is too weak in my opinion. That's why I always use Viking. M0 especially. But with the new Silence reworked map,this combo sucks but Railgun+Mammoth is surprisingly good though.

hornet isnt weak,you need to be sneaky to survive :D

Hornet will not protect me from two shots of rail with tundra on until I get it m2. When I use hunter though, I can survive 2. :)

True, but a Hornet does have a faster acceleration and speed, and maybe also a little bit better shape for the Mosquito-style.

So in a peek-a-boo duel with evenly skilled players the Hornet has a very good chance against the Hunter.

well,he haves hornet m3 and rail m3 and prodigy and some other good paints,he could play XP battles or with freeze and hornet NS Sandbox,Red alert...

he could play easily NS
