Stupid question: if a rail hits 3 tanks, first gets let's say 120 damage, the second gets 75% of the damage first one gets, how much damage gets the third ? 75% of the first or 75% of the second ?

It would get 75% of the second.

 

 Penetrating power (%) — % of initial damage dealt to a next tank on the line of fire. If there are several tanks standing one behind another, each next tank will be receiving a decreased damage equal to the percent of damage dealt to the previous tank.

It would depend if friendly fire is enabled. If it is then yes the enemy receives reduced damage if you hit your friend first. If it isn't then no.

Yeah. Hornet/Railgun is the most common in the maps/modes I play. But I perfer Hunter, before the new physics I did, and now even more.

I play    much less and soon to quit summer is here anyway my 8yr. old son already quit period and he is the one that got me started  I joined to help him play   disapointed with way tanki adjusts powers etc to sell stuff   the basic game is fun but greed is what wins/ruins  in tanki

You just don't know how to use it -_- Railgun still does very well in DMs and TDMs if you know how to use it.

If you don't like the rebalance, you either deal with it or leave.

Get hornet M2 first, because you'll be an easy target if you get the turret first. there is always time for rail. I advise you to wait for a sale. but this is just advice from me, you may do as you wish :P

The Rail Gun is a very good weapon for shoot and run or sniping, for shoot and run I recommend the Hornet with the Rail Gun. If your into sniping I recommend the Mammoth or Dictator (If you don't have a lot of gems. ;)) The Rail Gun is probably my favorite weapon. Also, the Rail Gun I very good on Highlands. It's very good in the gamemode Control Point (On small and large maps.) All in all the Rail Gun is extremely good, because the ways you use it can vary a lot, and it is very good with damaging targets. I would at least consider it to be the best offensive gun, if not the best of all the guns. :lol:

I hate how I almost never get full power out of this turret! I've MUed it so that it should be 1-hit killing M0 Hornets, but I seem to be getting minimal power out of every shot! Any tips or suggestions?

Try hitting your target from closer up. You won't be getting full damage otherwise, it decreases with distance.
