No, Railgun M2 doesn't even one-shoot M1 Hornet from what I have seen, and rarely M1 Wasp. Unless you REALLY love the color purple, I'd advise you to save your crystals for something more effective. Besides, you won't be playing with M3 Hornets for a while.

Yeah without paints; 70% of the low ranks(estimation) use Forester with wasp. If they don't have on Forester, their Wasp is m-i-c-r-o-u-p-g-r-a-d-e-d.

What turns me off from ever buying this turret is the fact that there are too many Majors out there using Prodigi, especially in Stadium

matches. Sure there are XP battles but I need to play against other turrets/hulls too. Tundra and Digital are bad enough, but seriously, Prodigi at Major ranks? Outrageous!

Most players know how to use it, but not very effectively.

 

There isn't too much skill necessary to use it on a basic level. Point, keep your aim on the target, and done. What matters more is how you maneuver your tank, more so than the other weapons.

I think Thunder actually requires more skill. You have to think quicker because there is no delay before the shot, and you have to be extra cautious and skilled at moving around to avoid splashing yourself.  This is of course, as with Rail, pertaining to light tanks.

doing that is natural for me,maybe thats why i suck at rail

With a delay, you have to be careful that thing offsets your aim.

No rail needs muuuuuuuuuuuch more skill than thunder because thunder is just see shoot and again and again and again. Rail's aim can be messed up with a lot of things : recoil guns , players ramming you , walls , etc ; so yea it needs a lot of skill.
