On a serious note, I'm not huge a fan of Hornet, but until I get to Colonel and get M2 Wasp, I think M2 Hornet would do fine as a light hull. I could deal with the drifting (it's not a big deal with some practice), and it pairs well with Isida and Ricochet. I suppose some health, speed, and turning speed MUs could really help out.

 

If it gets too ugly, I could always use Sandstone or Reporter, since those two paints make anything look good.

Trust me, hornet is a nice light hull to use ;) it works well with anything...

Not really my concern. Besides, I'll be switching over to M2 Wasp once I get to Colonel, so I'll only be a Hornet user for, what, 3-4 ranks.

It's easier to have more crystals on alts, as you know what to do and what to avoid. Like on this I have 27k.

It looks like I'm going to have a lot of excess crystals when the New Year sales come, thanks to pay and stuff. My definite purchases (M2 Dict, M2 Rico, Sandstone) are probably less than half of the total amount of crystals I'll have then. If that's the case, then I suppose I could spend some stuff on non-essentials. Would M2 Railgun be a good purchase? It's not a big improvement over M1, but it certainly does help. Plus, the purple shots look cool.

Holy cats, where do you get all your crystals? I never spend until I'm broke.

 

The biggest advantage of M2 Railgun that I've found is rotation speed. At high ranks, it takes the same amount of shots to kill people, but the gun is so much more maneuverable. The disadvantages are the same as always.
