I am thinking of Railgun m2 on sale, with my Viking m1. is it worth it or level up to get m2 thunder, with Viking? but Railgun is in my Top 3 best weapons, I like the power, but it has slow reload.

Buy the gun you like most and find easiest to play with.

a full MU Prodigy has something like 30+ Shaft protection :)

It can be mu'ed only upto 29 :)

clay is the best to MU for maximum thunder, rail protection and it already gives as standart 50% for rico

True that, but unlocks at last rank.

IMO Twins, there's far less people using strong Twins protection paints, and isn't as much of a "noob" weapon as people make it out to be. It conquers small maps and can do quite well in medium maps and possibly large maps if used well.

A trick I've noticed with Railgun:

  • Press spacebar.
  • Press the pause button while the shot is charging. If you still want to aim while it's charging, double tap the pause button really quickly.
  • When the shot fires, it'll be completely silent.

I don't know any tactics that this could be used for, but it's interesting.

İ have a question about railgun.

There are some hulls and on some hulls, turret slot is on the middle of hull(Hornet-Viking etc...), but for some others, turret is more near to back(Wasp-Dictator etc...)

Which one is better for railgun?

Definitely rear-mounted turrets. You will be able to slide out from cover and quickly do the shot, while exposing very little of your tank. With enough skill you can even kill a Shaft that's aiming right at you since they won't have time to react.

It's not the laser thingy that goes away, but the charging thingy itself right?

When you "silence" the Railgun via the pause button, it takes away the glow as well. The shot itself is still visible, but players won't be able to notice you aiming at them. Good for stealth, I suppose.

always thought it was lag, comes out they cheating. ofc i never hit them right with smoky  <_<

I don't think many people actually know how to pull that off (never heard of it before), so it's probably lag in most cases.

It would be useful for preventing Smoky deflections, but I don't think it counts as cheating. In any case, it's probably quite risky to pull it off during tense combat, since double tapping the pause button could be very inconvenient.
