I have posted this in the Vulcan topic but, has anyone noticed that the Railgun, when used effectively, used to have no equal? And yet now, Vulcan+Titan can beat almost anyone who uses a Railgun. It's incredible, because, when people know how to use the Railgun effectively, (and the only reason they don't is because it's very challenging for some weird reason) there used to be nothing to stop them aside from another Railgun. And now, game symmetry has finally been restored with the introduction of the Vulcan. Three cheers for the Developers!

Your information is incorrect. Railgun can't actually fire through walls- if it appears that way, either the shot traveled through a crack in the wall or you were shot by a lagger. I've used Railgun for a long time, and my shots have never gone straight through level geometry.

The "penetration" statistic determines how much damage a target will receive if the shot has already passed through another tank. That's why it's hard to get multi-kills with M0 and M1 Railgun. It has nothing to do with passing through walls.

Just to say this because the Railgun is the best weapon ever, on my other accounts, I have never lost a battle with the Railgun before (aside from those creepy, accidentally joined battles where it's 12:1 players).

Rail gun is basically a long ranged ray shooter which is popular amongst the players due to its high damage.it

was initially known at fear machine.before the turrents like thunder were introduced the fear machine mounted on dictator was montrous and rules the game.I highly recomend railgun must be mounted on hornet cuz rail needs A fast hull to take cover becuz rail cant stay out fr a long tym because it has a slow reload.the turrent is famous fr its impact force(helps in parkour) which has been reduced recently.railgun can be used in various aspects of the game Like attack.defence.mid.

Tips of railgun

-First shoot and then aim

-take cover in the reload tym

-try to aim the rival right cuz the slighest mistake leads to death cuz u dont hav a second chance cuz of the slow reload

Dissadvantages

-slow reload speed

-slow turent turning speed

-high impact force of ur can flip ur tank too if u r using a light hull like wasp

Advantages

-high damage

-high impact force can be usefull in parkour and flipping rival tanks

Thats it fr now

Uh, bud... it ain't a ray... it's a high speed cannon...

But, yes, hornet and Dictator are very suitable hulls for it, and everything in between. Wasp is alright, but Titan and Mammoth... eh.
