Railgun is an okay-ish turret, just like Thunder, there's A LOT of protection paints against it :-/

The only reason I hate railguns is because they can hit me even after i left the enemy railgun's line of sight. For example: I see the enemy tring to shoot me with his railgun, I quickly run after the corner, he doesn't see me anymore but I still get hit even though I was protected by the wall/obstacle.

 

Can tanki please fix this bug?

Totally agree here. It happens most to me in Sandbox XP/BP when you have the flag behind the corner then straight through the corner BANG! I will try to get a screenshot next time this happens ;)

I sometimes face this problem too. I don't think it's a bug as from what I've experienced so far this only happens when I or my opponent with railgun is having (minor) lag.

Rail's a funny one. The only real problem is the slow turret rotation and long reload, both of which make you a suck for ricochet and smoky, both of which can easily knock of your aim at close to mid range.

 

If you want to keep your kills up, I'd go for thunder, but on maps like Monte Carlo, nothing comes close to rail, where peeking and shooting is king, and everything at close to mid range falls by the wayside.

As a matter of fact railgun certainly more skills and experience than the rest ( This is the exact reason why around 90% of the railgunners don't even know what they are doing in the battlefield). Maybe you are simply denying the same fact because you want to keep yourself happy and satisfied by castling yourself within a barricade of lies when using noobtube?
