Railgun is only used by pro's so guys it's hard to be pro in it and the way that we use it is changed from a tank to another Wasp Is Fast And it can dodge a hornet shot but hornet is more stable so it does not flip at the same way that the wasp does ( very light ) to railgun need's time and practice For me I was palying railgun since 3 years and i can perform amazing tricks '( In Game ) But off-course you cannot Make all of ur shots Hit your enemy but you can train your self to do not miss alot of shots ... and railgun need smart players to know ( time and place and degre's of rotation in the same time at a short delay of a moment ) after all try  1 v 1 or private battles with ur friends that would help you alot to improve and losing is not a shame it's a way of learning and improving after all this is a game and it must be losing and wining without that the game would be boring .

After all if you need any more edvices i'am here you will find me at RU1 in sandbox or parma Or just add me Or Pm me and I will do my best to imporve players that need help .

Take Care dear Friends .

As a matter of fact railgun certainly more skills and experience than the rest ( This is the exact reason why around 90% of the railgunners don't even know what they are doing in the battlefield). Maybe you are simply denying the same fact because you want to keep yourself happy and satisfied by castling yourself within a barricade of lies when using noobtube?

Uhm, how so?

Firebird is an easily evadable weapon, and it requires consistent fire to actually accumulate damage.

Ricochet, if used correctly, can pretty much make midfield impassable for a single tank, as the bouncing balls can cover escape options far more efficiently than in any other manner.

Isida has a limited fuel gauge, but has two things to do instead of one. This leads to some planning: keep a teammate alive, or use your fuel for some extra DPS?

Assuming the current situation is not a battle filled with unskilled low-ranks, Shaft is extremely risky to use. It has a limited view, the laser, a forced standing position...Easily countered by Railgun at long ranges, and if anything gets up close, you're pretty much done for unless you have paid for personal bodyguards.

srsly it's not like rail is the make all do all of skill

I have already done enough reasoning on this matter in shaft thread. Sorry posting an blunt decision but then again I think kidtzis has gone through all of my posts to understand what I intend to mean :).

It's really fun throwing off a Railers' aim using Hammer, since he's instantly rendered helpless during reload. The fact that 90% of all Railers use Light hulls so it's an easy kill.

Let's all stop bickering about Shaft and Railgun and focus on the real issue, TWINS.

twins? I didn't understand.

Twins takes way less skill to operate than any other turret in Tanki. All you need is to point and shoot.

But is skill a necessary aspect of a game? Most players play just for fun. Those who want to play seriously can always go for starladder, which doesn't have twins.

Didn't i just write a full paragraph on how Twins required some level of skill in the Twins thread? >.>

It always amuses me how people attribute so much thought to these things. In the field of battle, there are few decisions that people actually make. Where to hide and when to shoot covers 90% of them. Shaft user do not need skill. Fire and move. Fire and move. That's it. Rail takes skill, as the charge time makes it tricky to handle. Shaft is easy, but not a team player. Its a one stop sniper and nothing more. I use it to kill other shafts when they piss me off, and it works, because I'm better than them, because they always use shaft so have no skill. I use other guns as well, so I have some skill. Shaft is a walk in the park.

I used to be a shaft lover. I wised up when I realised the game could be more fun. Railgun or thunder on a light hull is the best fun there is, since there's always something you can do. Shaft gets boring. It's just adding up numbers. Camp left for 10 mins. Kill 5 people. Move, kill another 5. You never get hit if you know what you're doing, but it gets boring. People don't like you, or admire your skill, because you're not showing any.

Rail is more diverse and more versitile. So is thunder. You get to enjoy high damage, but you look impresive using it, because you actually move and think. You could probably program a robot to do a shaft's job. Rail however is a gun for people who think on their feet. Thunder is for the active runner, the agressor. For me, there is no comparison.

U say shaft needs no skill (which is completely wrong) and say I kill other shafters cause Im better than them,

You just out matched yourself here as if it didnt need skilz, you wouldnt be able to be better ;)

And which puny human ever told you you need to camp to use shaft?

Thats a pure joke...

Ok, maybe I phrased myself wrong. I should have said 'most shaft users don't use skill'. What I was saying is that ,any people can't be bothered to be active with shaft. They just sit in one place and shoot wasps and hornets. If I use it I try and play with some skill. I move around and use arcade mode alot, and it works for me.

Maybe I came across as abit intense. That wasn't my intention. I just want to encourage people to be a bit more active with shaft rather than staying in the same spot forever, even returning when they get killed.

Chill out pal, didn't mean to upset ya.

That's a stupid comment, as skill is on a scale, and everybody needs at least SOME skill to play. If nobody had any skill on tanki, then everybody would just be spinning their turrets and driving off cliffs. People need some skill otherwise you'd get bored of losing because your team just spent all their time barging eachother off cliffs. Pro players get annoyed when their team has no skill, because it means the lose.

I put forward my thoughts a bit improperly. What I meant was that does it matter that twins requires less skill to operate than railgun as many people believe? Many people play for fun. They would rather use a turret which would allegedly use less skill than a turret which is very hard to use. People prefer less complicated stuff in general.

Twins is pretty rare and everywhere is full of railguns.

That's fair enough, but I'm not sure it's true. As kay said, railguns are everywhere, wheras twins are rather a rarity. Good job too because it's a nightmare to face against.

Yeah, railgun is definitely a lot more common. But then, I think that's mostly a fad. A lot of players keep on going on and on about how much skill railgun takes and how superior it is to other turrets that other players also feel the need to join in. Twins is often prejudiced as a turret which takes no skill. So, in order to fit in, a lot of players use railgun. And what's the effect? Around 60% of the rail users aren't really good enough at it.
