Polygon, yes u can be first but on higher ranks they use viking and above so its much harder. But i was talkig more about niose. I ve seen a few good rails but they all fail against druging thunders.btw, when i play rail the only time i press 1, 2, 3, or 4 is on a critical situaation between defeat and win. Excluding 4, which i use a few times

I can't help thinking if M4 Rail is really bad at Polygon CP... wouldn't Rail Max penetration power destroy multiple tanks at once? If I pair with Viking, wouldn't it be able to take more shots?

Railgun Is probably the best gun ever to be made on Tanki Online. I cant wait until the new version of tanki comes out, I wonder what the railgun m2 would look like?

Penetration or Damage? 

Penetration if you're good at lining up others, damage if you just like the strength. However, I'd upgrade the impact force; with enough punch behind it, Rail can throw off anything's aim. Not to mention flip off-balanced players.

I can share my experience with you regarding upgrading rail these are my current parameters 

 

 

I upgraded damage and penetration force at the same time to the max.

 

I regret upgrading impact force since it became virtually useless after update 349.

I regret upgrading reload time and rotation speed since i can feel a big difference between

Normal battles and xp or no upgrades battles.

 

So if you are not going to buy any crystals then upgrade damage first then penetration power.

Although upgrading reload time seems to nullify smokeys since u can reload before they completely

Destroy u.
