Sandbox, massacre are MM maps that are relatively good for the alt, and maybe even solikamske (sorry if spelling is wrong). Other maps include boombox, duel, duality, ping pong, wave, zone, valley, combe, and maybe few others.

I think it can be used on any map provided you can rock your hull. I actually haven't missed a shot with it yet due to vertical aim.

Yes I think HCA is probably too OP. That alt is an interesting idea (and i like it) but it might also be OP, since Rail is actually infinite range, unlike Hammer and Rico.

We can limit it to 3 bounces per shot.

That would basically turn Rail into Magnum though. Even 1 bounce makes it possible to hit most enemies in hiding. 

So while it's a nice idea it's probably gonna be bad for the game.

Maybe it does, if you were doing an XP or BP thing or maybe even with Viking since those three are easily affected by impact force.

 

The turret itself doesn't really require skill. Because it is a very effective weapon in battle and very versatile. Just equip on a sturdy hull like hunter or dictator, and railguns one infamous weakness is gone just like that.

To be any use at all it has to be spinning-up and spinning down repeatedly throughout the battle.

It's like using twins - only half the time you are not shooting any ammo.

Talking like its for free. Or its easy to spend 100k on altertion in low ranks of m2 just to make it how it was before the balance changes. They just increased rail price 100k by spilting its dmg to something called altertion.

 

Rail needs a min dmg buff

 

Alt needs a replace (change) or a huge nerf.
