I hate shooting somebody then 1 sec later somebody else hits same tank and steals your kill.  I guess I don't have patience for it either, can't stand the slow reload and the shoot hide shoot hide game it takes to use it effectively.  I used to use it when I first upgraded it to m2 but got bored with it very quick.  its a shame all noobs voted for rail, I think many of us could've really used some higher discounts on other weapons.

Play rail on TDM. You will usually get more points for the first shot than the other person for the kill. Few people know this. Yes, your D/L suffers as does your rating, but choose your priorities.

Hmm yeah, actually didn't know that as I hardly ever play team DM.  I'll give it a go to see how it works out.

Hehe. . .you're sort of right. I do notice the difference, though . . . .not as much as what I had expected .. . But still good for only a price of 30,000 crystals.

So M2 Rail is not that great overall? Because I was originally planning on saving for it.

It is, but m1 is similar in terms of gameplay. I think the diference is better while drugging )

I wouldn't drug with Rail yet. . . .still saving drug then blowing them out on Mammoth M2/ Thunder M1. Heheh ..  .M2 Hornets/ M1 Twins got nothing on me.

Oh it is. It's just that I've taken a long break from Wasp/Rail. So I still need to build-up the skills I've lost when using Thunder/Mammoth. Though with Thunder I did practice my Kill-stealing skills.

Actually I think M2 is the best upgrade for rail, to everything else. M3 isn't as effective against M3 hulls as M2 to is against M2 hulls.

But when it comes to CTF you wanna be the one taking the last shot just before the opponent gets destroyed by your team player...of which makes it a bit unfair for the other player who took most of the opponents health and you steal his kill and win the 10 XP  ^_^

I use hornet with it because hornet is fast and it gives you the chance to hide without delay.

Yeah I do that as well. Also save my teammates from getting shot at by firing at the opponents wheel tracks (or wtvr you call it) to make him miss his shot (easier done when scoped with shaft).

Theoretically, a fast hull (hornet or wasp the best choices) because when sniping with rail you want to shoot and hide while it reloads before you can take your next shot and for that moving back and forth from your hiding/sniping spot speed is a lifesaver.
