You should check old posts of turret discussions, like a fight  :lol:

 

I am not sure about VS, I may lose but I am sure I can be fine for DM.

I haven't lost any DM battle against railgunner on Sandbox unless druggers, I am serious.

 

 

Long range users generally think that they are super-humans and they can use their gun everywhere which I and Slight do  :)

But this is also an advantage, this teach us limits of our guns.

 

Anyway, I am not a skilled player and these tactics which I wrote from my M0 shaft days  :) I was using my M1 Mammoth and massacre there  :lol: After they added drop zones  :lol:

 

Any reasonable player would do it, but if you found something to lean against, or if you just turn a corner, or just kill someone else before die, or just use arcede shot and try knockaim, or just move your turret to somewhere to force him to attack, this can change.

 

The most important is that a shafter doesn't have to kill you, someone else or you gives to shafter 10 point, or flag etc... even if shafter tries to VS, he would try to pull you to open area.

 

Any reasonable shafter would avoid from you and hit you while you are fightning with someone else  ;)

 

I have also Smoky, we can also try smoky fight  ^_^

Sounds fun, though IDK how you manage to beat rails in ur shaft, since I can nearly always beat a shaft by popping out in my rail. Anyway, that's besides the point.

 

We ought to do a shaft v rail 1v1. Sort this out once and for all.

Anyway, I'll tempt you to fire your shot by offering you a slither of me. If you hit me I'll just wear dirty to soak up the shot then pop out and decimate you. On sandbox I'll get up close and personal, keeping cover. When you try to go into snipe mode, I'll pop out and pulverise your health. My hornet can outpace your slow turret...

 

You start to panic. "I should never have signed up for this" you're thinking. You miss your shot and dive, sweating, behind cover. You have no way out as your shot recharges, every passing second bringing you closer to defeat.

 

You freak out. You dive from your cover in a frantic rage of worry and fear. As I charge my railgun, you try to hit the corner of my hull, but I turn head and you miss. You know what happens next.

 

The shot fires and your reputation lays scattered around you with the turret you once held so dear. You switch off your PC, and run, trembling to the bathroom, where you wash your face to conceal the hot tears running down your face.

 

You realize your whole life was spent pursuing a fruitless cause. You throw your PC in the trash

It would proove that a skilled rail can take on shaft user. You're just covering youself incase you loose.
