i think every tanker knows how dangerous railgun is, its my favorite turret!

OP? :lol: my Smoky will knock their aim off, my Fire will melt/burn them, and my Isida will leech health from you, and even if they hit me, enjoy the 37% protection B)

So many people say railgun requires a lot of skill... but a huge majority of the rails I see are only skilled at pointing and shooting, when it comes to driving their tank and making forward progress in a CTF game... yeah it's not gonna happen.

You can only truly understand a turret by using it yourself… But I suppose you used it before?

That's why railgunners use the distance from their opponent as their advantage. And yes, railgunners usually lose in short-mid range battles. Usually.

can u tell me at least 1 advantage of using railgun ? because I cant find any..its far the WEAKEST turret in tanki

 

here are adv of other turrets
Rico - fast reloading, impact force, great with any turret and any range, quite good turret rotation speed, bouncing bullets

Twins - impact force, infinite ammo, fast bullets

Thunder - huge damage, splash damage

Vulcan - almost immortal using heavy hull and with isida next to it, infinite ammo, solid impact force

Isida - healing, extreme hard to kill if used with medium or heavy hull in CP

Freeze - freeze turrets, freeze effect lasts too long, fast reloading, unburning ability

Fire - burning effect, unfreezing ability, solid damage

Hammer - extreme impact force, fast reloading, huge damage

Shaft - 1 hit KO, good damage in arcade mod

Smoky - too fast reloading, impact force, critical hit

Rail - none

 

disadvantages

Rico - self damage when hit itself

Twins - none

Thunder - self damage, quite slow reloading

Vulcan - self burning, slow turret rotation

isida - probably none

freeze - disadvantage against isida

fire - none

hammer - none

shaft - vulnerable while sniping

smoky - none

RAIL - charging, long reloading, facing drugger u are dead before u even charge, no chance against smoky rico thunder vulcan hammer twins, good only for long range, too slow turret rotation

 

ITS TIME TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT

anyone notice, since last Friday unknow update,

 

the railgun can't flip any hornet , even in side facing perfect angle?

They have done somethings :)

 

You self destruct if you are a bit laggy, or get high a lil

 

You cant flip with rail, some other things :)

Only one gun can play XP format.

 

Managable 1 vs 1 with faster hulls. You need least appear to hit the enemy because you have longest reload with a good damage. This is alot annoying against medium and heavy ones...

Penetration power helps you a lot.

Great impact force can knockaim especially long rangers.

Nearly everythink dies with 2 shots without paint. This means, one hit with double power.

 

 

The best you can do with this gun is annoying shafters, twins users and heavy hulls, which I have all!  <_<  -_-

XP format was made because of the weakness of railgun..wihtout XP format there would be almost no railgun in the battles

Railguns are commonly used in normal battles. The XP format was introduced because of the big popularity and interest and to prevent players from ruining XP battles by joining deliberately with the wrong equipment.

popularity and intrest only in rail vs rail battle not rail itself

and to prevent other turrets to interrupt...thats exacty what I am talking about..when another turret join ..rails would lose because its too weak

Most XP-battles are played in small maps, for example Sandbox. Of course other weapons are more useful there since Railgun is a long range weapon. 

 

Let's take a look at Thunder Hornet vs Railgun Hornet:

Railgun Hornet can beat Thunder Hornet without too many difficulties if you're making good use of all walls and buildings in the maps to hide behind. 

If Thunder Hornet joins an XP-battle, he ruins the whole battle. Thunder only needs to shoot each opponent once, so a Railgun can kill him in only one shot. That's how players with other weapon ruined the XP-battles. I'm not only talking about the use of different turrets though. Imagine that a Mammoth m3 with Prodigi joins the enemy team and starts standing on the flag. 

 

So Railgun is not necessarily worse than the other weapons, it's the combination of Railgun and another weapon (and equipment) that ruined the XP battles.

You can only truly understand a turret by using it yourself… But I suppose you used it before?

 

 

 

I've used Railgun ever since I started this account, which was over a year ago.

If someone gets more DPS than the maximum DPS of Railgun, he works better anyway...

Not if he can't hit you. Walls and building are your friends when using railgun! :P

 

 

I must confess that Railgun loses every 1 vs 1 fight on close range against every other weapon (except Shaft maybe).
