Oh, and I have  question for ranks that are higher than me.

How well do M2 Wasp/ M2 Rail do? I don't see them much. Only seen like what, 2?

Are they still pretty powerful/effective?

wasp/rail not the best combo, wasp is not good with rail.. even in battles like mine you don't see them often.

Edit: never seen one I think.

Ah, you wanna be a mosquito?

If you can wield that combo well then you should be fine ok

At lower ranks it's amazing, true. You 1-shot or 2-shot practically everything. However, work on your kill-stealing. As you rank, you will rely more and more on Kill-stealing. So instead of being all in the open shooting your laser, you're going to have to practice being some rogue tank . . . or else you won't get any kills unless you play in TDM. Because all you'll be doing is weakening enemy tanks and getting kill-stolen yourself...

Yuppers. At m1 with two shots you can kill all tanks pretty much. & yeah kill stealing is key. Mostly for bigger tanks. Kill stealing is awesome. :D

To all of you Railgunners out there. Do you always aim for chain-shots? Like shots that inflict damage on multiple tanks, do you always try to skewer multiple enemies?

I do.  :D  Make the most out of each shot, and fire in style when you get that double/triple kill. B)  Pretty sure you can get more when using DP, no?

Never a good choice to use rail with wasp. Why? Because rail's firepower is very strong and wasp being a very light hull, it's not stable to absorb that power. If you fire rail facing wasp sideways, it can jolt you back to the point of flipping you. Even hornet is affected by it but not as much. But if you get fired at at the same time you fire, you flip too.

I got killed by 2 rails yesterday...they both shot me at the same time and made an X through me ...I don't know why but I thought it was cool looking. It spun me around too

Ever got shot by 6 rails at once. . .  It's like Tic-tac-toe. . .

And I'm pretty sad right now, Can't post a screenshot of my score. There were 9 Generalissimos, 2 Field Marshals, 2 Commanders (Rank right before Gen.), 2 Brigadiers, and one Lieutenant Colonel (Me!) In the midst of the middle I got second place with a D/L of one. Was using M2 Mammoth/ M2 Rail/ Electra, against a bunch of Mammoth M3's and M3 Vikings. Hehehe, I like Railgun.  But then I started to lag and my Laptop overheated.

Yeah i do. But i dont focus on that always, mostly on getting the one that is killing my teammates.

& hmmm... Id have to test that. But i think so!

The following has been taken from a post of mine elsewhere; I thought it would be interesting to see what you think about what I've said.

The best Railgun users will always be able to hit you when you can hit them. This is because they won't stand still when they fire - they'll always be perfecting their aim, or performing complex manouevers with their hulls to rock them slightly for a more accurate angle. However, these players are very rare.

Using Railgun is all about prediction. Nearly all of the best shots I have ever taken with Rail surprisingly involved me out in the open, with my opponent behind cover. In those situations, you have to estimate how long it'll take your opponent to reload and come out of cover to fire at you, and then hit spacebar in the split second before you think he will do so, whilst moving. 90% of the time, your opponent will have had enough time to notice you've hit spacebar, and so will remain behind cover, leaving you firing at nothing and looking very stupid indeed as he then leaves cover to finish you off. But 10% of the time, you predict well, and along with a bit of luck, you hit your opponent as he comes out to finish you off, leaving him wondering about what just happened. It's in those moments of glory, you think: That made me look a million times better than I actually am. This is what makes Railgun unique and valuable in its own way, for me.

Never; one target only.

Now try this: on Polygon DM I saw this tank passing by through an opening between 2 buildings. Since I knew he would come out from behind the building on the right I waited the exact amount of time, activated my rail even before he came out of cover, and by the time he had just come out at the same time my rail fired at him. That's what predicting and knowing the exact time to fire entails  :D

I love doing that. However, it annoys me when:

1) He lags and doesn't arrive in time to experience my wonderful Railgun.

2) He changes his mind and either stops or drives in another direction.

3) He is dead already.
