Did they buff Railgun or something?

I saw a base M0 Railgun take out a base M0 Wasp in one hit.

Wasp one-shots with rail were always possible. If you look at Wasp's HP and Rail's max. damage, you'll see that Railgun is able to kill Wasp and even Hornet in one shot. The thing is, it doesn't happen often because most of the time Rail's damage is around it's medium value.

Here is my thought on railgun:

Railgun is really deadly gun, but really hard to master. You have several things to deal with when mastering the railgun, for example:

1) Rotation

2) Targeting at long range

3) Avoiding the chance of being off balanced when shot by a smoky or any other turret

4) Trying not to miss

5) Trying to land a second shot to the same guy in DM mode

6) Making the most of it

Railgun has an high damage, as well as a long reload speed. Therefore, missing the shot in close or mid range is deadly. Not to forget the fact that Railgun usually doesn't one shot kill wasps and hornets, three options are available:

1) Use double damage

2) Land a second hit

3) Max it

For me I chose all of them. When in a good position, I activate my double damage and slaughter every one. When in a bad position, I know that I can one shoot kill wasps but for others, I land a second hit. If you really love the turret railgun, then here is a tip: MAX IT!!!! Maxing it is a really good choice if you really love this turret because it will make you invincible and superior above all other railguns. The best part about maxing it, your friends will think you have a M0 (or something else) but you actually have the strength of an M1. You just have to wait and see their faces.

Some people say railguns on wasps suck, but that is not true. I use wasp and railgun the MOST and have made my ratings 1.21. The trick is skills. The biggest problems for railguns on wasps is staying alive and not missing the shot. Don't you hate it in battles when you are going to kill a guy but you go off balance? Well, here is a tip: If the guy is in close range, go directly towards him. Once you ramp up to him, there will be NO chance that you will miss unless your turret goes up. In long range, the ideal way is to stay in cover, always. When you have to shoot, DO NOT, go out and shoot and then come back. What you have to do here is, get out, and target him while you are moving. Don't return back to the shelter you were in, but go to the next shelter. Wasp has the lowest acceleration, so going back will come a nuisance. Doing this, will prevent the attacker from getting a good target on you, because he won't know when you are going to come out and, due to the fact that wasp is fast, you can get to shelter before he can even shoot. However, please don't use this if you lag.

Others: Hmm... Okay @PracticeParkourStunt since you are giving tips and acting like a smarty pants, please say the best hull for railgun.

There are different hull combinations. The dictator, almost was mend to be for the railgun for great parameters, but that ain't true now. Most players say, hornet is the best, but, it is only best in average. If you want to play Stealth, take dictator as you are not going to move much. If in CTF, then wasp for capturing flag. If DM, then either wasp (because you can dodge attacks) or Viking/Hunter.

Btw, want something interesting, how is my beautiful railgun?

Maybe he had it MUed?

It might have also been a DD shot, those tend to ignore protection.

The railgun is a powerful turret, meaning killstealing is very simple. Just wait for a enemy tank to recive damage from one of your team-mates (preferably not a friend) and shoot them. Bare in mind the reload time, approximitly 5 seconds. viking is a good hull to go with railgun, as iot is fast enough to zip in and out of cover, while not shedding off to much armour like the wasp or hornet. Hunter also works well. I advise a anti-close range paint, to protect against firebird/twins etc.

It's really annoying when you all most finish someone of with rail, then someone shoots him with m0 Smokey and kills him

Lesson: Need to do 1 more damage

MU then  ;)

See. The older railgun, and smoky were OP. I mean, in a battle (other than XP BP), it was impossible for a Light hull to survive. I mean it used to SD more than getting destroyed by other tanks.

The time when it jumped from a ramp or any moment when it was in the air and got shot by a railgun, tata bye bye! You're flipped and jst wait 10 seconds...in those 10 seconds, u can just break your keyboard with a brick

It's was true, but not 100%.. Railgun really can flip the Light hull, but if you can control for good, can avoid this problem
