i dont now

i like it I'm good with it but not good for Dm battles or going offence in CTF

Kinda true for the dm part, cuz u can't camp and stuff. But for ctf its great especially if you are in a map like monte carlo, knock off the enemies aim which is pretty good cuz most players in monte carlo are railers and the capture the flag. But it is a bit hard i agree

Hornet and Railgun is quite nice cuz u have balanced defense to keep u going as like in a scenario where there's this viking m0 and u need two shots with m1 so you shoot it from far range once then when it finally gets close to you u have probably recharged already and fire the next shot and boom it dies. (scenario in the side of the sandbox map)

Personally, I think railgun is a good defence gun for shooting enemies at a distance, though in the right hands, you could probably capture the flag. I have a M1 railgun and they do require a lot of aiming skills but I guess you can get used to all that with some practice.

Railgun.... Ah, the glorious weapon. I use it for everything, and it has the most play time of any weapon in my garage. I can use it on Monte Carlo and long shot flip a wasp going for one of the jumps. I can use it on sandbox as an aggressive blitz weapon. I can use it on almost any map and succeed. I've made shots with a railgun while driving away from a wasp with a speed boost who's trying to shoot me. I've flipped enemy rails by hitting that split second where the timing is just right that when the recoil from their rail pushes them back and up, mine hits them on the underside and flips them straight over. I've done a moving oneshot snipe on an M0 Wasp on stadium. The gun itself is just so perfect. The tatics for aiming are hard to adapt to, but the weapon itself becomes savagely powerful for anyone with experience using it. It's no wonder why so many people hate M0 rail though. They can't succeed with it, because they don't turn their turrets to fire at an enemy rail, or they use a light hull thinking that a railgun will miss them as they shoot the rail. Rail is getting the new reload balance, and boy do I look forward to it, because that means I can hit even more crazy shots, and absolutely monster people who don't turret turn. XD

well i guess we see things differently, I have rail m2 and smoky m2. Smoky by far, and its not even close, the better weapon.

P.S. good luck hitting me while I'm shooting you with smoky.

I think it really just depends on your fighting style. If you're one of those adventurous and risky people, you'll probably prefer smoky, but if you like to hide and shoot, railgun will be best. I've used both guns, and I guess their both quite powerful, but in different ways.

Totally worth buying, it is very good at M0-M4 and IMO the only con is that aim is knocked off if used against a skilled smoky/hammer. It also has a good amount of impact force so you can flip and knock off aim, and you can also use railgun for parkour as well

my rail is m0  :P  but i have ubgrade ny rail 50/50  :D

How much did that cost?

Somewhere around double what you would spend by waiting for M1 unlock rank? or a kit?

Did you gain back the many crystals you spent on MUs by dominating those stuck with M0?

It used to take artistic mastery in handling the Railgun.

1 - you needed to make sure you hit your target and,

2 - reposition yourself for both coverage and timing of the optimum firing angle while waiting for the reload

It was because of the long reload that made using Railgun an art.

Now it is noobed with a faster reload and nerfed in damage. Anybody can use it as a regular turret now.

Just like they are making Thunder and Smoky more like each other - reloads closer, damage slightly closer, nerf the critical.

Like buying cars. They all used to look unique.  Now they all look the same...

Hmmmm..... And it all started with the Micro-Upgrades.......

Pretty soon there will only be 3 hulls: Light, Medium, and Heavy.
