Yep, I love it :)

First of all, this is the English forum. Speaking English all throughout your posts  is a good idea...

If the reload time was shorter, it would be OP, and it means you need skill to kill enemies, and not die.

First part I kinda agree, but not "jack of all trades", since its not standard simple to use weapon...

You only aim after you fire(press the spacebar)?? You should be aiming when you fire, as your firing, and before you fire...

You....mean...you STOPPED using it? :o :P

I really like railgun, and it can be used really effectively for more then camping(though I mainly just camp), pwning people with it is just so fun :D

Best weapon if you know how to hide, then charge and come out to shoot

It really does an insane job when we use the hide and charge stratergy

^ or get the high caliber ammo alteration, then start MUing your railgun.

That's what I've got. Most powerful turret I've used by a long way. It's only weakness is when it gets cornered by a short range weapon, but I like to keep health kits handy for those situations ;)

Railgun isn't that powerful. Before M2, my M0 did 300 to 1000 damage, with an average of 600, now my M2 does around 500 to 1200 damage, with an average of 800. Often I see my shots do 1000+ damage but most are below that. It took me like 4 shots to kill an M2 Viking with protection from me. Railgun would be better if it did more damage, eg. 900 to 1600 at M2. Magnum is OP, they should make Railgun more powerful as well and make the reload slower. To be honest, I do not like my Railgun M2 and I only ever use it for parkour or fun 1v1s, is Railgun M2 really worth it?!

And yes, those annoying Firebirds that burn you and you're dead before you can get a final shot in. Not to mention those noob Freezes circle-strafing you.

Depends on the map.

On Massacre, rail rules.

You can buy the m2 damage boosting alteration, it definitely makes rail a better turret, but the protection modules still make the weapon obsolete.

I don't know about not being powerful, I can do as much as 4200 damage in one shot on supplies. Of course, you need a variety of weapons in your garage and not just one.

With M3 - makes sense. Isn't that enough to 1 shot M3 Mammoth?

Even with the alteration and double damage, it still can't kill an M3 mammoth with out protection. But it will heavily damage damage it with that one shot.

In my opinion,

Railgun is the most used weapon in tanki online.

It is the gun to make u a hero a legend a professional player a skilled brat .

Its the best weapon for goldbox if u use wasp with it.

So buy it and mostly play in sandbox to improve your skills,

If anyone want to help me just play with me rail hornet ins sandbox.

Thank you for your coo........railgun  ;)

Best turret(maybe). But I like it only with hornet, wasp,Hunter or Viking. Another thing is that it requires lot of skill with experience. The requirement for lot of skill makes epic to see it in gameplay or use it.

Ya,

You can try xp/bp to improve your skills (maybe) and gain teamwork :)

I don't know how to improve my XP/BP skills...I used to consider myself skilled with Railgun, but I have used Isida mostly so I'm out of practice even though I have M2. XP/BP is so annoying though how others try to do skilled shots, and they always hide from you.

learn the skilled shots from them and practice on an empty map.

create private maps and practice shooting at imaginary targets and then hiding.

perfect on driving your tank backwards

Yeah, I used to practice in Sandbox. Also Island with my brother, shooting thru gaps in buildings. But tbh, I'm not very good with Rail and need a new M2 turret now - I already have one in mind.

Those are good tips though ;)

Personally, I believe railgun is a beautiful turret, and may I mention that it was the most powerful in the game

a few years ago. B)

Also, if you want to play tanki on a professional level, I suggest upgrading your railgun, although smoky is a

good secondary option. B)

Lastly, I should say that railgun is by far my favorite turret, not because it raises your K/D, but because you

are the most likely to never be killed.

You can get 50+ kills in a 15 minute game with this combo (and pressing 3 non-stop ofc). I totally recommend it.

make that 70 if you partner with another railgun in dm and you have the high calibre alt.

i did that in the last contest

in dm, when i see another rail, and they shoot at me, i do not respond even it is very close

in high ranks, they understand that you want to team with them, and mostly agree (no words spoken, only a mutual understanding between railguns)

this is very handy because both of you can occupy a good camping spot, and defend it much better with mines and rest of supplies.

IS railgun m2 good?

yes, but by brigadier or major general, you need 5 to 6 MUs on it to make it competitve.

Just been reading all these comments (page 250-259) and well railgun is probably the best turret in the game. Well there is a complete server devoted to xp/bp (EU1 not only xp/bp though) So many people play it. Railgun is really good, I heard some people comparing it to magnum; saying make it more like magnum. But with railgun it is easy to aim and fire then run (or whatever) But with magnum you have to get the measurements correct and then get the power correct and that is very hard. I mean sure railgun could do with a tiny bit better damage but apart from that it is very good.

Hoped I helped you out (I'm a rail lover xD)- Mex

But magnum has splash damage, vertical rotation ability and better damage out put per shot than the standard railgun.
