Let's Discuss Railgun!

Just been reading all these comments (page 250-259) and well railgun is probably the best turret in the game. Well there is a complete server devoted to xp/bp (EU1 not only xp/bp though) So many people play it. Railgun is really good, I heard some people comparing it to magnum; saying make it more like magnum. But with railgun it is easy to aim and fire then run (or whatever) But with magnum you have to get the measurements correct and then get the power correct and that is very hard. I mean sure railgun could do with a tiny bit better damage but apart from that it is very good.

Why do many Railgun users have egos the size of Mount Everest? I understand that it takes a "massive amount of skill" and "precision reflexes" to use but I mean, c'mon.

Yeah but XP mode isn't as good as it used to be. There's far fewer battles now when there used to be lots on RU1-RU3. I do well in XP mode but it gets boring very fast. I'd like to play XP mode on desert, but that map has become so rare now just like skyscrapers.

I would have never believed Titan Rail can be so good in Poly CP. People don't usually get modules against Rail and if you are skilled enough it's a great combo to use.

You can get 50+ kills in a 15 minute game with this combo (and pressing 3 non-stop ofc). I totally recommend it.

 

In every battle, tankers have this protection including me. That is why i do not buy protection because people use railgun in drug battle a lot. But I got 40% protection.

Yeah I should've known that playing Tanki 24/7 destroyed his brain..

Any M4 would be worth it at that point I guess, though we've seen better MU sales.

You are right, neither m2 or m3 railgun have the power to "pull" tanks.

I would say YES but make sure you have a range of turrets.
