I'm sure 100% that you said "No" coz you think if the old rail will back which result to make the xp/bp battles slower . but wait , did you even know what is my idea ? Noon little kid I'm 9 years rail player and now you be against me ? F!!!!

 

Here is my idea , read it and give me a freakn reason to say "No" . kid

 

Why dont tanki re the old rail and replace the m2 altretion with this one from my self-made altretion https://prnt.sc/hf7oj0 and make an auto equpied altretion for xp/bp battles that change there rail stats like the current stats , its like in DR Mode ^-^ auto equpied ^-^ , why this ? Ok here some reason if the old rail back this mean slower reload ( exepct xp/bp its same as now ) slower reload mean less rail shots less rail shots mean less ( dead , dying,death idk ) Rate which mean players will have some extra seconds now to hide or attack or heall etc.

I could care less about XP/BP; I don't like the format and the average x.x.xII..XP/BP..PRO..IIx.x.x user.

 

However, I am a fan of more alterations aslong as they don't dramatically alter the original stats of a turret.

so to speak; altering a Thunder with twice the reload and twice the damage.  Your alteration would make an M4 Rail reload within 2 seconds, which is faster than an M4 Thunder. Knockback apparently stays the same, that'll be some interesting gameplay. I wouldn't care if they'd implent that alt in XP matches only though.

i dont want the old rail to be back only coz i like it or i prefer it more than the new one , i want my idea to be applyed for the game balance be better and more fun , as you saying , you talk about alt , then remove this idea from your brain , how do the low ranks get the old railgun ? they cant guess why ? coz they need a high rank and 96k rail m2 prise and 100k altretion prise = 200k to re the old railgun ? really ? oh wait or you think the railgun is fine is it in low ranks ? really ? many many !!! times my m0 3/10 railgun kill wasp in 2 shots using DD ( double dmg noob ) really ? is it fine to kill the weakest tank in the game by 2 shots using dd ? 2 freaking 2 shots ? the old one could take 90% of wasp with out even DD but no the currnet railgun take 99% from the wasp but guess waht ? the currnet railgun take 99% with freaken DD increaase dmg 100% there is only 9% diffrent its look like they took 90% of dmg :( pay2win game bad devs and very very bad game balance .

You have a valid point on the 2-shot by the way, the little HP that Rail M0 leaves left after 2 shots is very unfortunate.

Let's not forget the reload time here though. The old one was atleast 2 seconds slower.

 

Now, are you going to talk about that wacky alteration of yours or not?  :lol:

 

Don't start another fight please, just discuss without calling each other noob and stuff.

ok , i will not start fight my best freind :) , but please help me , there is bad people think my idea is worng and gonna make the balance not better ,

Am I missing something here? Why is Rail being called "weak"? Sure Magnum shook up the DPS pecking order, but Rail remains the only turret with both penetration AND no damage falloff over range. Two things that make it unique gameplay-wise. It has it's niche; Being the noscope weapon. Being a long-ranged direct supportive fire weapon.

If Tanki would remove protection modules, Railgun would be one of the strongest turrets ingame @ M4 level. Yet, repair kit update decreased the usage of railgun again. There are still people playing with it in public battles, but not as many as there use to be.

 

I haven't touched my M4 railgun since ratings game out, but played with only railgun from recruit to Gen rank. Good times back then.

Mh? Think about about. If you are 1 vs 1-ing against twins/rico or any medium range turret(or close). You as railgunner hit him(almost get kill)!, he uses repair kit, since your chargeup is long, enemy can restore his health fully, yet you can only restore a little, because most medium range turrets ruining your restoration because of their fast chargeup times.

Its one of my main turrets right now, protections against it are disappearing relatively quickly. Except in camping maps like Desert DM.

Desty is correct.

 

Against Rail you can get full value from the RK.

Against rapid fire weapons (Twins, Fire, Freeze, Isida, Vulcan) not so much;  any damage disrupts the secondary-ongoing repairs.

The straight 1  on 1 battle with no one else on the map represents << 1% of all TO combat. So why is this the example give on RK? 

 

Is how the RK works the only criterion you use to select your turret?

By that logic, Shaft and Magnum are also too weak because a RK can outpace the damage of both of them on a medium hull. Am I correct?

A shaft can one-shot a medium hull without protection so the RK is useless - instant death.

 

Magnum - well - when have you ever seen just one in a battle?  ;)

By 1 on 1, I did mean 10 vs 10 battle for example in RIO, you go by roof and there is just one enemy player, so you basically have to 1 on 1 with him/her. These situations do happen quite often in any map when you have to one on one with someone. Finding cover is kind of difficult as all medium/close range turrets do try to ram you. 

 

I did see massive amounts of Rails yesterday @ RIO. It looks like there are more isida protections nowadays, than railgun :)

Thank you for that clarification. 

 

But even up there in this narrow example it is possible a 3rd tank will hit one of you in mid-RK use. That being said yes of course some weapons are better at disrupting RK use than others. Some weapons kill in one shot which is another way of "disrupting" RK use. My smoky might keep you from getting full benefit from an RK but your rail might kill me before I even can consider it.

 

RK supprsesion is just one aspect to balance between turrets. IMO there re several mosr significant aspects.

This is extremely effective. Fully drugged Vikings who blasted trough the enemy defense line with a flag can be taken down in one shot; all supplies rendered useless.

Railgun is not really a death match turret. too slow to reload and too slow to turn. Team battle on normal maps you'll have to drug like everyone else if you want to win a match. Pick your maps for railgun, ones with big open spaces, Massacre, Rio, Highways, Desert are all good railgun maps. Highland can be good too, plenty of camping spots.

 

Play pro matches with no drugs if you actually want an enjoyable game. Monte Carlo=railgun heaven. wave, hill. skyscrapers. Not very popular maps tend to suit railgun.
