Yeah, with Railgun M1 and that doesn't happen all the time either. Sometimes (rarely) a Hornet M0 can survive.

Wear Forester or anything that protects against Railgun 10% up. Even with Forester you can survive M2 Shots sometimes. Whenever I see a Wasp M1 who does not use Railgun paint, I facepalm. Although at M2+ the armor is similar to Hornet so by then you can alternate paints I believe. Well I did see an M3 Wasp use Inferno . . .

Yup, doing it, I will have long way to go to colonel for wasp m2, so I will get Tundra or corrosion then use something else as DidYouKnowThat said.

yeah, not really; sniping behind a wall would be the only way to get a great part of the fund.

Well on certain occasions, it sure does do good in flag capturing. Shoot the enemy and run like hell. :lol:  They'll still be reeling around due to the impact of the shot, and by then you'll be a mile gone. But that's the case if you're on a speed hull.

 

But my favorite aspect about being a Railgun is having a nice view at enemy base. Then I just pick them off with shots and they're all scrambling. :lol:

I like Railgun, its my favorite weapon and I got M1 but... too bad I wasted Crystals on Isida M2 when the rebalance came out, Isid is a good weapon but its boring to play with it for me :(

range is not infinite, sometimes from one side of stadium map to the other the shot doesn't inflict damage at all

This is clearly lag, I'm very sure it's not a programmed characteristic of the gun to suddenly make NO damage... Doesn't make much sense huh?  :rolleyes:

 

 

I've joined a battle sometimes and realising that my Railgun doesn't harm anyone!  ;)  Good times... but then I re-enter the server and it's fixed.

 

 

One bad thing about the Railgun though... it's sort of buggy (might have more to do with the maps??). Some places where you can shoot through small openings, like the typical damaged walls. Even a perfect shot won't go through. Theres also loads of similar places on the maps, but I suppose it's more of a pain for Railgun users due to the slow rate of fire...

 

 

Of course another problem is that the games knowledge of where your tank is is behind your movement, it's very noticeable when you're quickly driving off to cover but still get hit.

But this is probably just the ping and the servers and that stuff... still annoying though!

Railgun can be quite a pain, especially to us, Freeze, Firebird, and Isida users.
