Railgun can be quite a pain, especially to us, Freeze, Firebird, and Isida users.

Feel the pain of getting killed before even reaching that railgun user. :lol:

Railgun can be quite a pain, especially to us, Freeze, Firebird, and Isida users.

I use all of those turrets so as a true close-combat person, I don't find Railgun to be as a pain as Twins or Smoky.

well i guess we see things differently, I have rail m2 and smoky m2.  Smoky by far, and its not even close, the better weapon. 

 

P.S. good luck hitting me while I'm shooting you with smoky.

u know , he can trace ur smoky , easy , but he has ot be fast or he wont see u , when u hit with smoky u either hit the center of the tank or one of its sides , if u hit him at the center then ur directly infront of him , if u hit him in lets sa left side , then u are on mthe left side , . kinda complicated but works for me , just see where the smoky's hit lands on ur tank and follow the hit in straight line , u'll find ur hitter eventually

i wouldnt count railgun user as a pain to isida users , if u got close to him , he's dead, but if far , ur dead, matter of range only

now u got me confused, i really liked freeze and decided ot upgrade it , but now after i opened hat topic about railgun u got me excited to play with it , so which is better rail or freeze ? feeze is quite handy at preventing users from escaping in CTF maps SO HELPFUL , u never run away . but railgun in TDM , so what should i use ? when i go to serpuhov i use rail , moonsilence i use freeze , and i like those 2 maps , so which one i should save money for ? ( with titan m1 )  ( or i change titan ?)

In my opinion, which might be a bit affected my the fact railgun is my favorite weapon, railgun would be more worthwhile! 

 

 

My reasons are:

 

Its much more versatile than freeze simply becouse freeze is a short range weapon. Youll be able to do more on a battlefield, you can both snipe and be in the center of the battle (if theres many enemies and less than excellent cover for you, you need many teammates though. I see railgun as a supportive weapon.

 

Its more fun! Okay, thats in the eye of the beholder... but, being versatile on the battlefield and having a weapon that force you to plan out your moves more makes it alot of fun. Everyone fear railgun alot. Even if a single railgunner can be easily killed if his close enough after he got in one shot on the enemy, a single shot still caused alot of harm.

 

You will also be able to help out team more! In certain situations, a railgun is very valuable. When enemys attack and one tank is constantly healed by an isida, the enemy sometimes cant kill it becouse the isida heals it as fast as they damage it... thats when the railgun comes in, often able to kill most slightly damaged tank with a single shot. It finishes the fight quickly. 

 

If you really master the railgun you can be proud to use this powerful, but sometimes hard-handled weapon, to its full force! No need to stay in the distance, just play sneaky, use the camera angle buttons to stay ahead of the enemy... youll drive them crazy!  Railgun is very rewarding becouse of this! The only problem to solve is the reloading time, you must always have a plan for after youve fired your shot! 

 

If you become a good railgun user and play on a good map and theres nothing too much out of the ordinary about the enemies (like crazy druggers or too many of railgunners nr 1 enemy according to me, smoky), you will dominate the battlefield and easily be one of the most effective and dangerous players!!

 

Incredibly easy to kill steal! You will rank up fast!! Also, you can shoot through tanks making kill stealing even more easy.

 

 

 

To railgun I always would recommend a pretty fast hull, Hornet or hunter.

Railgun!!! its very fun to use actually better than shaft  :D

Rail is fun cuz you can hide and shoot and while you are doing this you can be really thrilled to play tanki with this gun.

Its in my opinion that rail is best!

Actually thunder and rail are bests! 

Druggers-> thunder and mammoth

Snipers-> rail and viking or dictator or hornet or wasp( depends on how well u use.)

I use rail wasp forester, I used to use rail viking metallic, oh boy. I can't tell the annoyance the enemy get every time I shoot them and hide or flip them. Rail is probably great, it's just reloading time. But most of the people who have played with railgun a lot (Like me) doesn't get effected by the reload speed, by the time a hornet M2 isida M2 will come after me if I have shot him, I would have reloaded half of my gun, enough to kill him before he heals completely. Rail is by far the best all rounder weapon.

Rail is definitely my favourite turret because of the variety in gameplay that you get. I love to hang back and snipe, then suddenly burst into the enemy camp with a few well-placed shots.  :( Too bad I've never got it past M0 though.

M0 Rails do absolutely no damage in my view. Not even to my M1 Wasp (Forester) . . . .I'd say get it to M1. :huh: Unless you already have 3+ other M1 Weapons. Then don't. :lol:

Lol, no need to worry, I don't have a single M1 weapon.  :lol: It's just... I was gonna upgrade Thunder. Oh well, rank to WO5, wait for a sale, buy them both.

Well , It's a really great weapon it shoots too far to get the enemie with great damage even in M0 but it has only 4 disadvantages which are 1- the time it takes to recharge after u shoot a hit , 2- it takes some time when u shoot inorder to collect the power (of the yellow chargebar) which allows some opponents to kill u fast with thunder or etc (as example) and 3- its kinda bad in near enemies battle like facing isidas , firebirds or freezers .. it has no chance if they are near from u , 4-when u hit it leaves trace so the opponent may know where u are hiding but well its still really great as it can shoot too far that some opponents may not expect it and u can go very good if u upgraded it as well so u can 1 hit lots like hornets , wasps and if u used double power and used hiding and hitting stratgy u will be hard to lose.
