When you are playing with a firebird team, you pwn a freeze team..

I used firebird at noob ranks until I could buy isida, and then also until I bought isida m1, and it was really good.

IMO firebird is really good if you like short range weapons+it's really annoying to face.

It's great to be unfrozen, especially when holding the flag.

The burn effect takes too long; you'll get kill stolen anyway.

Besides, it runs out to fast; aswell as recharging way to slow.

 

Not worth it; superb expensive... way to expensive, if you look at what it's able to do.

Its worth its price at M2.. and afterburn is really powerful ^_^

The hull I use with Firebird; overall, I think it's a great turret though a little bit more on the expensive side for M2 and M3; even so, it will definitely be worth it. It's responsible for me getting over 30 000 crystals which got me my M1 Isida AND M1 Viking so I really owe it one. 

 

I know I'm going to get M2 but I since I like the majority of the other turrets and I plan to M1 those as well, it will have to wait for M2.

Nice, but unless you are a buyer or tanki staff or anything, don't plan to get a lot of weapons. :)

Still having questions .. .Firebird or Railgun M2. :angry:  I don't think there's going to be a 50% off of Railgun anymore. :(

I think you have a chance for 50% railgun, get Rail if you want to be a long range serial killer, or firebird if yu want to be a crazy birner. To be honest, I love both. I couldn't tell you which one to get :(

I find firebird annoying, and I don't mean when it's used on me. It has a super fast discharge, and takes ages to reload again, and can barely kill a medium hull, like viking on dictator.

Firebird takes time I guess. Think your not supposed to shoot for awhile using it. Just spray them until they become as red as they can. Then stop. If the Burn starts to fade, spray them a hair more so the burn is a constant 12 damage (M1) or 17 damage (M2). That way you don't lose fuel. I think the only reason you would want to shoot relentlessly at an opponent is either: 

 

A. You want to kill them desperately

 

B. He has your flag.

Spray them and leave. Hurt/Kill them and be a troll turret.

Constant kill steals, if there is a freeze on your team they become your worst nightmare and a total kill stealer. It recharges wayyyy too slow too and runs out too fast.  I'd like it alot more if they made the gas last longer like freeze.  I don't understand why they didnt, both have an effect.

I find Firebird very good with mammoth in DMs; I play Polygon DM with generalissimos and still get D/L over 1.50; because the afterburn effect is very damaging and powerful.

I also love the mammoth firebird DM combo but I tend to use it in moon silence
