I need an answer from a player that has fire m3.

Is it worth it?

i have wasp, hornet, hunter

Ask Reiki12345 from IC. He'll tell you why it is worth the large amount of crystals.

P.S. he won best of firebird.

I call it the Phoenix.Great in Combe. If you want to sneak up on enemies, this is the best.

IMO The Dragon Emperor is a better name. Specially when used with wasp. Edited by UAA619

Whenever I play DM's, any tank that is glowing red draws my shots like a moth to a flame, and I am able to steal the kill around 80% of the time.

So kudos to those that rock DM's with Phoenix!

As m1 is really cheap, it is not a waste of crystals, even if it not very powerful, you can see if you like the gameplay and decide if you want m2 or not. :)

Indeed. I think if there are no other 50% Sales for weapons excluding Twins and Smoky, I'm heading dead set for M2 Firebird. It's still good with M1 Wasp until I get to Colonel rank, right? Or I can still resort to Viking for maps like Silence.

It is very powerful though.

Oh my Guard, I'm not sure. Save for Firebird M2 or get Mammy M2 at 50% off?!

If you've already got a M2 hull, get Firebird and use that.

Take a look at Freeze. You're welcome.

The afterkill on Firebird does more damage than the initial firing. The freeze in comparison is much less direct in its sealing of the deal as it just stunts your movement for a short period.

A short period? You're crazy!

Firebird's reload is pretty long.

Furthermore, Firebird's expensive! ;)

I think you must be indeed deluded, the firebird afterkill seems to take a third to nearly half my health away (or it at least feels that way). Luckily I'm usually surrounded by Isidas. I used to have firebird before tanki updated when it had no afterkill and for me the Freeze is a much fairer weapon.

1. Just jump off a cliff

2. Get an Isida to heal you

3. Freeze can disable the effect

=========================

Well I remember someone saying this, forgot who, but: You get what you pay for.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Either way Firebird's pretty fair. And like I said the Firebird reload does take time ..  .Once it uses up a blast, it'll have trouble shooting another solid flow.

Now now, no need to ragequit. Its just an opinion, I don't think the firebird should interfere with the health of your tank when the driver of the firebird may have got killed. Stunt its reloading yes but imininently kill them when technically you weren't around to do the full battering as you were too weak. If they're going to have an afterkill, it should be swfter and to a lessened extent. I'm struggling to see your point about value because apart from the M3 upgrade, the crystal price is not substantially different.

How is that rage-quitting?

Well anyways, Firebird has its own weaknesses like any other turret to balance it.
