However, be forewarned. After only 2 days of playing it, it definitely has some annoying things about it. 1. Every short range weapon has a special defense ability to keep it alive. Isida can self heal while damaging tanks, freeze can circle around enemies due to the freeze effect, but firebirds only defense is its burn damage. This enables it to run if needed. Unfortunately, you can't always run so expect to die a lot unless you have an escape route. 2. People will self destruct a lot in front of you, you just have to deal with it. With MU's I believe it to be super powerful, but I think it's average IMO. But it is definitely a huge improvement from m1, don't get me wrong.

yeah thats what i know from m1 unfortunately  -_-  however whenever I clash head on with a freeze m2 hornet m2 and I have fire m1 hornet m2, if we fire at the same time I always win. I only have 2 mu's so i can't wait for m2 :D it must be deadly against freeze

Every weapon has some negative attributes otherwise the game would be unbalanced, i have been using firebird since major and it is definitely the best short range in my opinion. M2 firebird dominates in every game mode (my personal experience) and even when it comes to M3s I'm a force to be reckoned with. A few quick tips: Im sure you've already figured out the hit and run tactic needed to maximize its efficiency, you can also go for kill steals (your team mates wont like it). I tend to use it on groups of enemies and watch them burn. >:D  Its great fun and my perfect M2 short range weapon.

I love using fire in rio TDM because all the enemy thunders crowd into a group, i sneak up behind them and presto. they're all dead

It is a extremely good weapon, don't get me wrong.. But it's play style is extremely hard to get used to. It's so hard to just run because you want to see your target burn and die... And if he doesn't die, you don't know why... That's my issue. But with time, I will master it.

Then Zeus happened. :D

Firebird is an extremely underrated weapon. I saw a major joining my game with Firebird M2 and HornetM2 and my teammates started calling him "noob get out of here" or "we need freezer get out".

At the end he captured 5 flags and was first place.....

Agree, people only use shaft in stadium mostly. Watched the match between MIX and Scorpions and shaft was the best defender.

Saw atleast 2 fire m3's too.

exactly. I have been using it since day 2 of my tanki career so I am used to it but I am still far from mastering it  I used freeze for a few minutes one day and I could just not live with the fact it didn't have after burn. I hated it so much I never used it since :D The after burn of fire is, in my opinion, superior to isida self heal

so with this new rebalance they are taking away firebird after burn?! I could cry :(

Nope, it lasts longer but makes less damage. And it takes less time to reload. That's a great move imo.
