It wouldn't be called "Balanced" if the afterburn last THAT long and deals THAT huge amount of damage over time.. NO,just no. If you want balance, then either lower the afterburn damage or decrease the burning time.

It's still fairly balanced in my opinion. You have more time to get a health box, self-destruct, get an extra frag or two, etc. while burning. The extra damage is the compensation.

Don't count on it. Now that people know which is the most powerful turrets in the game, they WILL use it. And almost all of my battle I joined in are filled with Firebirds and Ricochets.. Planning to get Storm or even the Light M1 kit and upgrade Spark to the max.

Don't count on it. Now that people know which is the most powerful turrets in the game, they WILL use it. And almost all of my battle I joined in are filled with Firebirds and Ricochets.. Planning to get Storm or even the Light M1 kit and upgrade Spark to the max. 

Oh, yeah. Having an alt with mammoth, that ticks me off... Luckily half of them can't turn their turret and it looks so stupid when they try to turn a Viking against me.

extremely OP at m2 firebird is dangerous but has slow reload.

Question for experts who have M3 Firebird: so what did you do with your firebird between Major to Commander? I mean 9 ranks is a huge gap and the XP needed to reach the last rank from Major is massive!! Not to forget the fact that Brigadier onward, everyone else will start having M3 turrets. Did you stop playing with it in between? I am really interested to learn from folks who stuck to firebird as their main weapon all the way through till they bought M3

Man - i got it little betven thing faster, i just have to change weapon from firebird to freze

and as i analyse this - probobly u need more weapons, and check whe this model is too short in damage...

 

and sometimes rico KIT buyers got antifreze paint

so - than firebird even m1 got more damage than m2 freze

Firebird m2 is soo good. I compete with m3 combos and finish really good and win battles with my hunter hornet abd firrbird m2 combo. Also i usepaints cedar tundra and jaguar. M2 hunter and fire is beast

i saw stats - it nice more armored and fster than before

 

and with next sale - i wil get ups to m2 firebird and so on...

prices are too high so i wait

Probably either MUd a lot or used some other turret in the meantime. Not like anyone would stick to only Firebird and not use anything else.

Its easy to dodge rico's plasma balls if you move, so do the freeze's style of play by going around the rico while he shoots but make sure to keep a safe distance but still make him burn. On the Brightside, with m2 firebird there is a 90% chance you will kill the rico. Keep in mind that if ricochet's plasma balls sort of skid past you, it may still deal damage. Another thing to do is take cover and surprise the rico. By then, the rico well be to late. I will stop talking now LOL

What happened to Firebird M3 having blue-purple fire? I really liked that, but I never even got to use pre-rebalance M2 Firebird...

^Yes, literally the same color with a bit of shading for each M. If you mean turret-wise, M3 looks worse than M2, for all close range turrets. (imo) It just feels like it.
