Oh, me and the others? Lol, they're gonna live with it, I see 2nd Lituenants+ using freakin' Viking M0. If they can do that, I'm sure M1 Firebird will still work. At least it did for me. :S Anyway, you're kinda supposed to get the turret/hull combination that fits your playstyle, not necessarily the strongest.

How does it fare in TDM though, considering now that its burning affect lasts a full 1 minute?

That'd be interesting to see. Though, Isida, Health kit, AND Freeze can neutralize the burning. Now ain't that wonderful? Lol.

@DidYouKnowThat: Only fully MUed M3 gets to a full minute of afterburn (I think). M1 Firebird can hardly get an afterburn because of this new 'temperature' update.  Again, Firebird was the best a few months ago.

 

And yes, stats do play a part in playstyle Loackie. My style was spraying everyone with walls of flame that could knock out an entire defense (or single drugger, lol). Now, I can't do that. I have to focus on one person at a time, and even then, I can't kill them with a full charge! Even after I release all my flaming fury on them, they barely turn red. Guess I'll have to wait for M2...

In M2 they get red and not barely but normally, when you buy it you will see it. Also after-burn effect at M2 last longer so that gives you a better advantage to destroy an enemy.

Firebird/Hornet: Popular combo

Firebird/Hunter: 2nd best combo, but rare :lol:

Firebird/Viking: looks cool.

Firebird/Dictator: Looks weird, but can dominate small maps.
