You know, I've never really used the Firebird all too much. I think you people just changed my mind. Next account to create, FuzzyYogurt. Firebird+Wasp. Current combo: Vulcan+Titan.

Why not FuzzyPickles? :P (Earthbound reference...)

Still , freeze is more wanted than firebird for CTF,

once u get a fire in your team then you would most probably lose the battle .. while a team of freezes and isidas in silence is the best one

you slow down those who are trying to steal your flag, and when you attack with freeze then you leave everyone behind you in slow motion :D

This gun is too OP. Big noob update.

Before SD penalty and after Update 207 (Firebird afterburn nerf), Most tanks were like Wile E. Coyote when he got tricked.

After SD penalty, A good amount of tanks were like Wile E. Coyote when he got tricked.

After Vulcan release, intentional SDs are hardly a thing now...

Also, Update 207 Firebird was actually not worth using at one point...

firebird can completely destroy a small group of tanks in few seconds and even if you die, lots of tanks can be extra-burned.using firebird with double damage is so fun!

That's true, I have fired m3 already, thinking should I micro upgrade :p

i think the firebird is EXTREMELY overpowered

I think the jase111102 is EXTREMELY bad (Firebird ONLY has OP DPS and exceptional group killing but literally has NOTHING else going for it)

^Range, rotation speed, afterburn

Range is horrid, Rotation speed is slightly more than average I guess, but it's not EXTREMELY important unless using a heavy hull. Afterburn fits into the DPS category.

Rotation speed is a great asset on a Wasp

But it's not as vital. You're most likely utilizing your Wasp's rotation speed, and you're most likely turning the turret AND the hull. That's probably 300 RPM at m4 Fire-Wasp

i personally think freeze is a lot more fun to use than firebird

yes i know firebird m2 and firebird m3 has a lot more damage than freeze m2 and freeze m3 but damage doesn't make a turret fun

in fact i actually think the turrets with better damage are more boring to use

Still got better range then every other short ranged weapon ;)  wouldn't say that the after effects count as the initial. The DPS of the afterburn is far worse then the damage dealt from the original charge, but it lasts longer

Afterburn activates after exposure to the blast, so you get afterburn+normal spray damage. 20m is frickin' abysmal compared to Thunder (108m? It's well over 100), Rail or Shaft (both infinite)...

There is a reason why they're called SHORT RANGED@!!!!! And Thunder's range is 180. The shot itself has infinite range but the damage reduction thingamaboober

140 metres, to be exact.

That's what I thought before I got Fire M2. Freeze was so much better and it was awesome. Fire M2's were just annoying people. But afterward I got fire M2 and it really was great. You have to try them out before you judge it

Firebird is a close range weapon and it should only be used at close range. If you use a thunder at close range you'd self damage yourself, because it's not supposed to be used at short ranges
