"Oh its tricky :) whenever Firebird attacks it is increasing temperature of a tank. Damage done by temperature is depended on how high the temperature is, which is depended on how long Firebird attacked. But there is a limit on how much temperature can be. Max is 1, which gives 30 damage per second. But only m3 maxed Firebird can heat up tank to that temperature. Also, every second temperature of a tank is decrease until it is 0 again. So, yeah... that was easy to make, but a bit hard to find out how much damage is dealt"

So the limit on how much temperature there can be, is 0.29 for m1 Firebird. If this limit is reached, the burning damage deals 30 damage per second. The more the temperature lowers, the less damage the burning damage deals. The higher the temperature, the longer the burning effect will stay. I hope this answer is a bit satisfactory.

I see. Thanks.

So it is kinda degradation at M3 in the aspect that it takes 5 seconds to fully heat up a tank to reach max burning damage, although its burning last longer.

I can keep the burning damage at 30 if I keep shooting fire at it after 1.5 seconds at M1.

Actually what turret is the best for close-range combat at M1?

I'm thinking of upgrading freezer or hammer too, or should I save crystals to upgrade one turret only?

Thank you. :)

As someone with a garage full of turrets I never use my best advice is to pick a turret, stick with it, and spend your crystals upgrading it.

The two most useful overall for me are Isida and Firebird. The rest just collect dust.

Firebird is excellent for small maps where there are clusters of tanks - even if you don't kill someone the burning damage handed out to 5 tanks ensures you get XP when each one is destroyed.

Even with M2 I can compete well against even Gismos and their higher level tanks.

As you can see a good Firebird user can come out on top - and in large maps such as Serpukhov it is an excellent defensive weapon.

(My son has an account too - on it I am learning from the lessons of my own account and will just upgrade Firebird and Hornet - nothing else).

I'm sorry. There was a little misunderstanding. There's no degradation at m3.

"Firebird m1 cannot get a maximum burning damage of 30 since the damage is limited by the temperature. This temperature is changing from 0 to 1 and the burning damage is changing from 1 to 30 with linear dependence between them."

So I quickly made this little chart.

So we've got the function: y=30x (x=temperature and y=burning damage)

Let's take a look at Firebird m1 with a maximum temperature of 0.29.

y=30x0.29 so Firebird m1 has a maximum burning damage of 8.7.

I call it "The Dragon". Best used with wasp as it's speed helps to get closer to enemies as quick as possible. Requires great skills to use it effectively because of the high fuel consumption and slow refueling. If you have bought M1 then it is better to shift to another weapon till you can get M2 as the difference between them is great which also makes M2 worth the 94000 crystals that it costs. And the same goes to M3, although M2 can be used for quite a long time as you can steal kills with the burn affect which can also be used to kill enemies without losing much health.

(I'm in a hurry right now, so will add more stuff here later)

Funny, I always called it "Trogdor's breath".
