I really good at polygon cp with no drugs and was wondering if I should buy firewall kit (fire m2 and hunter m2) or should I save up for pit bull kit (hunter m2 and hammer m2? (Sorry if English bad not first speaking)

I think the hammer is a more versatile weapon with the addition of the alteration...sort of a dominant mid-range to close range turret. Before the alterations I never hated seeing them, but now they inflict lots of damage at more distant ranges...

Firebird is my favourite turret . I love it for short and mid ranged battles . Once I will get fire M3 i will fully upgrade my firebird

Yes Firebird's burn got nerfed fairly recently.

Firebird M1 Destroys at Master and First Sergeant! Sad thing is that you have to wait 12 levels/ranks to unlock M2 Firebird! 12 LEVELS! Looks like I'll have to find something else to use till M2 Firebird is in my garage... :(

Rank up and then see what it can still do before you decide to move on to another turret.

The m2 alt is useless against druggers if they pop up a repair kit

 

 

 

But it is good in non drug battles

 

 

 

Other than that, m2 fire looks like a beast

Played Pass CTF today with firebird/wasp + Double Damage. Firebird and DD can rest someone's day, someone said that I was hacking Becuase I would kill everybody so quickly! He probably did not see the DD symbol under my name ;/

Yeah, they have implemented some changes in isida too.

Firebird is just amazing for close range! On maps like Brest you have to be a bit more careful if you are running a light hull with your firebird (I run Firebird/wasp for CTF) Becuase of all the shafts trying to snipe you.

I started reading the patch updates for the first time and noticed this:

 

• Alteration “Compact tanks”

  • Effect on Heating rate decreased from +300% to +100%

That is a huge change... pretty outrageous. I'm glad I didn't buy it for full price.

Fire m2 with that alteration is just as strong as it was before this update.

I did buy it and it was a change that I think was necessary for game balance. If the increase in rate of heating was doubled on the normal turret and then tripled on the alteration, the firebird would cook a mammoth/titan in a few seconds. It is still incredibly solid...barring the dreaded RK use by folks;(

Ah right I didn't know they buffed the normal turret. Still, I have 8 steps and it is weak against legend ranks in pro battles. It used to be good when supplies were turned off but now it seems the opposite.

Its penetration is back, so now you can BBQ the enemy tanks through each other.

By trial. I was able to damage/destroy 2 enemy tanks lined up one behind the other, with the front being a Titan/Vulcan and his little pipsqueak pet Wasp/Isida hiding behind him. Try it.
