if u use a firebird lower than mk6 get compact fuel tanks and if u use one greater than mk6 or a mk6 get incendiary mix

Thank you! But if I may ask, what does Incendiary Mix do?

Form the Wiki, I understand that the afterburning effect is disabled, but it still damages per tick the affected opponent's tank. Is this alteration basically a way to bypass the Heat Resistance and Heat immunity for hull augments, since there's no "overheat effect" from the firebird anymore?

yes .it ignores heat resistance and immunity .a full mk8 firebird deals a damage of 1031 per second with this alteration .basically u deal 50 percent more damage and can have a extra half bar capacity .like if a normal firebird can shoot for 10 seconds before it runs out ,incendiary mix can shoot for 15 seconds

i've checked  ur profile .inshort -range ur good .maybe consider a long-range turret like shaft or gauss .as for ur firebird ,compact fuel is the wiser choice .but its upto u

Hi guys,
I have started playing about a week ago. So far I have firebird and wasp on mk3 upgrade and I wonder if I should consider upgrading another hull. Wasp's low HP is sometimes really annoying, but still, it's speed and size are amazing. Is wasp useful in further stages of the game? Now I find it very good, I'm on top very often, but I do not know if it would be in more advanced battles. I found in guides that hornet suits Firebirs very well, but I checked it's stats and hornet's HP is very similar to wasp's and wasp's Overdrive is much better than hornet's. Viking has much more HP, but is also much bigger and it's lack of speed, comparing to wasp, worries me a little bit. I found many guides, but they were created before rebalance and I do not know if they contain information which is consistent with the current situation
Could you guys give me a piece of advice?

Hunter is a good choice, in case you are unable to excel with Wasp. I personally love Wasp-Firebird, and have managed to achieve a Kill/Death ratio above 1 (killing more tanks than dying) many times.

However, every hull will have some pros and cons. Like Wasp and Hornet have low HP, but are fast and small.

Hunter is very maneuverable and stable, and it's Overdrive(OD) is OP. But it obviously lacks the speed of Wasp/Hornet. It's got decent health.

(Hornet's OD is also OP, but only with long range turrets)

Otherwise, it's best that you practice using Wasp-Firebird... You can turn your turret side-wise and fire at enemies from the side... You need to take advantage of the speed by moving around the enemy tank instead of directly confronting it. Many Firebird users don't do this, at least at the low ranks.

Hope this helps!

When you get to higher ranks, such as Lieutenants or Major ranks, try hornet, because it has good health, and at that rank most people have supplies, so you can easily burn through their double armours with the OD.

Thank you very much guys.

I use turret and just drive around enemys, especialy when they use slow hulls like titan and many times hill them without a loss of HP, I learned this playing light tanks in World of Tanks. Very funny either in Tanki and WoT XD

I will consider viking and hornet. Hornet is just beautifull, I love it's design, much better than wasps's. I go with wasp, because it is much cheaper. I checked upgrades prices and hornet is really expensive comparing to wasp and has equal HP on higher upgrades. Do you guys see noticeable differences between those two hulls in terms of  speed and HP? In stats they look very alike .There is one other thing with wasp,  I encountered an issue, which can be annoying sometimes, it tends to flip on it's side or back. Does hornet have the same problem?

Viking is cheaper than hornet, so for poor begginer it is a great advantage. It appears that it is also different from both wasp and hornet, bit slower, but with decent HP.

Correct me if I'm wrong somewhere. I do not have great game knowledge yet, so I want to learn more. This is how i see it now

Firebird with viking is good. But fire with wasp is an excellent choice, stay with it. And yes wasp does just as well in higher ranks though it would take a bit more skill to use with drones and all. Especially it does well in pro battles better than hornet.

Hornet can also flip, but compared to Wasp, it's definitely more stable.

Hornet is just beautiful

Yep.

Right again! Maxed out Mk7 Wasp and Hornet have same HP.

So it appears I should spare cristals for upgrades of wasp and firebird.

You mentioned that it would take more skill to use with drones and all. How game change on higher ranks?

At higher ranks, players are way more experienced, and you'll find a lot of buyers, who have excellent equipment (Drones, Protection Modules, Supplies). You'll notice that everyone is very skilled, and team-work also increases in quality. If a team-mate has low health, you let him take the Repair kit... If a Heavy tank is crawling beside you and there's a Speed Boost in front, you let him take it, and so on... (this is just the ethics part, but actual teamwork like passing the Rugby ball also increases, as long as there are no mults on your team)

Good decision : )

At higher ranks ppl are more skilled and harder to fight and there’s also drones which boost the tanks’ effects which you won’t find much in low ranks.

Wait what is the difference between temperature and heating rate for fire??

Is it the same thing or completely different?

Temperature is how hot your tank gets. Usually there's a limit for each modification of Firebird.

Heating rate is how quickly your tank gets hot.

I dont understand why firebird is available at such a low price. Noobs who don't even know where z & x keys are get lot of kills so easily. And why freeze is so expensive when it is weaker than the latter. Tanki Logic.

Freeze has a higher Damage Per Second than Firebird, which is why it's cheaper than Freeze. Sure, it has the afterburn, but a simple Repair Kit can get rid of it and Firebird is easier to kill than Freeze.

Devs really have put firebird into nothingness in terms of playability.  In high ranks most of the players have Fire immunity or lower level protection. Only the stupidity of the design will outplay the low imagination of the game design.
