Garage description:

Close-range turret. Puts enemies on fire, dealing additional damage over time. Unfreezes tanks. Has a limited fuel capacity, which recovers with time.

On the narrow city streets, when the battle looks more like an ant farm, there’s no better weapon than Firebird. Ideal turret for limited areas with no space to maneuver. Equally wonderful at putting slow heavy tanks on fire and crisping up fast light hulls. By carefully spreading the fuel over multiple targets, you can burn down a whole tank factory. Even a small amount of fuel can be enough to light up a careless enemy, so you can look for a new target and the burning enemy will blow up on its own. Unless, of course, its teammates won’t put out the fire with Freeze.

I call it "The Dragon". Best used with wasp as it's speed helps to get closer to enemies as quick as possible. Requires great skills to use it effectively because of the high fuel consumption and slow refueling. If you have bought M1 then it is better to shift to another weapon till you can get M2 as the difference between them is great which also makes M2 worth the 94000 crystals that it costs. And the same goes to M3, although M2 can be used for quite a long time as you can steal kills with the burn affect which can also be used to kill enemies without losing much health.

(I'm in a hurry right now, so will add more stuff here later)

I find Firebird very good with mammoth in DMs; I play Polygon DM with generalissimos and still get D/L over 1.50; because the afterburn effect is very damaging and powerful.

^I would, if I had it.

Firebird is pretty awesome. My dream weapon.

I thought you used it as your main weapon. Btw, your isida guide helped a lot. Thanks. :)

I play in polygon DM's with wasp and fire and still get over 1 D/L. For me, wasp is the best hull to use with firebird, no matter what the mode is.

Wasp/Firebird combo will get you good results in the WO ranks sure, but after that you're better off relying on another combo until you get both Wasp and Firebird to M2.

Yeah I know. But as I mostly play with lieutenants I have temporarily switched to isida although I occasionally use firebird when I'm plying with WOs. Edited by UAA619

I have it at m2, its definitely strong but the problem is if there are a lot of freezes they will ruin the burn effect for you.  Even your own teammates with freezes will become your worst enemy as they constantly steal your kills and go freeze a guy burning from you and get credit for the kill.  Very annoying, I wish they could fix that.

Yes, that is annoying. But I just wait that the freeze damage him with his long charge, when I feel the player will die soon I start shooting and I still deal 40 DPS.

My latest game with it; up to generalissimos, without any supplies. It can kill mammys in one charge, that is actually helpful compared to freeze.

I guess you can use fire from time to time.. Isida is pretty boring, at least at M2.. Fire M2 works well everywhere for me :)

They'll kick you only because you are m2 ? :(

I have never been kicked.. I hope I'll never be :)

Well, probably not because it's M2, but the fact they think Freeze is much more useful...
