Wasp, Hornet or Viking and Storm

Thank you for the reply. I like to go after the flag, and did OK with Wasp but get one shot by the big guns out in the open - namely rail/shaft/thunder. I am practicing with Viking and it seems to last longer on the field, but without the speed though and cannot close the gap to make Firebird effective. Maybe I am on the wrong maps?

I don't understand the philosophy of having the same paint as the turret you are using. I thought you were supposed to get the opposite paint: long turret/short paint or short turret/long paint?

Can someone explain further why paint should match protection from your own turret?

Short/Small Maps - Firebird, Viking and Storm

Medium Maps - Firebird Hornet and Corrosion

Long/Big Maps - Firebird Wasp and Tundra

Firebirds are very popular at your rank. I find storm very valuable on my low acc, despite me using Firebird. Tundra or Corrosion is great as well, but it unlocks a few ranks away.

Very nice guideline! I will try that. Much appreciated!!!

Of hornet has not enough armour but Viking not enough speed, Hunter my friend is for u, get it m1 ho it's the worst m0 but the best m1.

I would like a kit like Prometheus but with a Wasp M3 instead of a Hunter M3. Better yet, make them XTs! It should be called the "Dragon Kit".

That is the worst idea ever.

I don't get why everyone puts Firebird on medium and heavy hulls. There is so much more it can do on light hulls, and for medium and heavy hulls its limited range makes it difficult to kill anything. I always thought short range weapons go best for light hulls, and for medium and heavy hulls medium range and long range turrets go best.

That is because medium  hulls (hunter) are better suited for a gun with timed damage.

A dumb tanker puts it not knowing the best map for a heavy short range combo.

A smart tanker intentionally uses that combo on maps that are small and have many enemies. The more small and dense a map is, the better heavy short range combos work since they dont have to chase around enemies.

M3 worth it? Or twins M3?

Each player has the experience of playing. For me, I would strongly like to buy Twins, and that's why I already have the Firebird M3. But I don't use it, as usual. If you are an XP-player, don't buy Twins or Firebird,  just try to buy other paints or other guns or hulls. You can choose based on what you want. Anyways, it all depends on the style of your gameplay.

Firebird is only good in some maps, like Island, Sandbox, Boombox and Short bridge. This means you'll be able to use Firebird very well in the small maps.

It's the same with Twins, it's good but it depends. If you use drugs, it becomes very strong.

Good luck buying whatever you want. Always be sure it's what you need, don't worry about the appearance.  :P

I think, I would buy it, honestly if you start plaing with firebird, you get addicted to it. It's accually quite irritating, because I get used to it so much, that i can not use anything else.

True that.

Fire M2. Ricochet M2 is good too but it requires Micro upgrades for effectiveness. Firebird is one of the strongest M2s OP straight out of the box.

Hm, noted.

As far as my current plan goes: I skip out on Vulcan M2 because I don't have enough crystal income to support active MUing.

And I get Firebird M2 and Viking M2 with Loam, I guess.

I like this plan. A LOT.
