Nah id think so , just maybe a small tweak 

if they nerf the Afterburn now they will need to buff DMG again  ;)

In my opinion this update with balance change i was so happy to see firebird its buffed . But now i think was a bad idea because an firebird m0 can beat freze m2  . Now freze and isida its complete dominated by firebird in every battle i see firebird more than freze and isida .

Didnt they cut Fire's M0 damage in half? I actually think they made Freeze perfect, but now everyone is protecting vs fire so I cannot use it anymore...the meta will fix itself soon

Compact Tanks is no longer useful, I consider this a nerf. On the other hand, normal Firebird is still pretty capable (from M1 onwards, M0 has always been average anyway)

Pointless to nerf anything when Magnum remains OP. Make every turret OP as well.

Looks like it's better without the alt indeed. Tried a few battles without it, and got better scores.

I didn't know that. What about the changes made the alt no longer beneficial? I have been using it with Compact tanks still engaged...

Its overpowered since new balance changes, if you play pro battles you will notice that there is at least 2 maximum 5 firebirds on each side, even if you go with freeze on firebird you are dead.. Firebird is overpowered and it should be NERFED ASAP. New firebird + "Compact tanks" Alteration is very very good and in same time OVERPOWERED, there is no way how to stay alive.

I think it is good that Firebird beat Freeze actually. This is how it should be.

No wonder people want a firebird format. It's ridiculously overpowered :O

based on same modification, same level of protection and drugs,

 

in drug war, freeze always kill firebird first, and once done, freeze hit health kit to restore half of the health and go for next enemy from back.

while firebird just dead without getting any kill.

 

even health kit is nerfed, but as long as drug is on, afterburn has no use if people can cancel it with health kit or a freeze friend.

 

freeze;s pure damage ouput is more useful, as even both side use health kit during attack, freeze can take more than 4000 health + 1000 repair with its damage, but fire will run out of fuel first and can't deal last bit of damage while taking freeze damage.

 

also, freeze;s freeze effect will help freeze to evade firebird's cone angle and reduce overall damage from fire, and at same time take a health kit to enjoy full restoring health while sitting at back of firebird, and firebird's health kit will not bring them much help, since freeze does more 6000 damages at m4 in one go without break.

 

also even freeze run out of fuel first, while the firebird still freezon there can;t do anything, while freeze re-loading the fuel and continue do 2nd round of circle dance.
