I'm using rico M0 before I get twins M1, and it's actually quite decent. It shoots out of only one barrel, and has more knockback than twins, so it's easier to knock people's aim off, especially when they give me their sides and/or are in a light hull. It's plays like an exaggerated version of the twins. It's quite fun to use, I feel like I'm bouncing orange tennis balls off the walls and into the enemy. LOT'S of knockback. Very good at attacking a person with railgun and wasp or hornet. I keep shooting at the sides of their front and they just can't shoot me with their shot delay. Not excellent on fast hulls for newer players, since recoil can easily flip you over or off course.

Please don't just say "ricochet sucks" or things like that, it's useless and practically flooding. (you're probably thinking that about this comment, but anyway.) Has anyone got any suggestions as to how to best fight ricochet?

 

Sorry but richochet is THE WORST weapon ive ever seen

It sucks even more than shaft! though shaft is the best weapon at CTF battles when at sniping

1. Richochet is easy to avoid, even viking can outrun it -_-

2. Only worth it if your really close to your opponent

3. only good at m3, and seriosuly, why would i wait that long...

4. Can be outdone by literally any tank any weapon

 

Just dont buy it, you'll regret it, it has really major flaws :mellow: -_-

bought the m2 heavy kit with ricochet but never really use it. i only use it when duelling people in map 'duel' where they cant attack u but u can ;)

ricochet is only ever good for maps that are crowded, like edimburgh. its bad for open maps, like sandbox.

The Ricochet should have a charging effect like Shaft.  Like it should do weak plasma balls when you press the fire button and if you charge it it can do much more damage. That's what I think should be on the ricochet weapon. Thanks for reading! :)  :)  :)

Every gun is good if you know how to use it. I use Rico-Hornet on this account and it can pawn hornet and viking m1s.

Are there a lot of Ricochet paints around Generalissimo rank? In the test server, almost no one has ricochet paint. So in a way...i don't think ricochet is a good gun, because its not. Even pro ricochet m3 users, say it sucks now, its just not good. If shooting hornet and wasp, you miss a lot, 60% shots actually hit. If shooting heavy, the amount of shots are not enough. And the shots are slow, i can actually evade them. The only thing kind of good, is the knock-back power, but if your using it on hornet, wasp, dictator, you will also feel the effects of the recoil. However, even though its sucks, i think its actually effective. Effective, but not actually good. What i mean is, not a lot of people have ricochet paint. Thunder is have to say, i probably the best gun, its just "good", but because its so good, and because a lot of people have them, also a lot of people have paints against them too. In my other account rank major, almost everyone has rustle. Up to this point, no lie, i have not seen anyone with a ricochet paint. Except holoma, but people get that mostly for smoky not ricochet. Ricochet is really good, if you are defending with a freeze.They slow wasp and hornet down, and the combination of attacks for both freeze and i burst of ricochet will destroy titan, mammy or any hull. So what i am basically trying to say is ricochet as a weapon sucks itself, but the actually goof weapons, people have protection against. So ricochet is more effective useful, but not actually good. My opinion, sorry if you disagree, but this is also probably the truth. Hopefully now the server restarted.

There are a few, the most protecting being Clay (50%)

I love Rico! M0 is a little bit useless against M1 hulls, so saving up for M1. Might get thunder first though.

rico is an amazing especially I the new maps with lots of buildings to rico off. my view is if you cant use rico(excused for m0) you are a noooooob!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is ok on some maps, such as Madness, but on Serpuhov it is no good.

This is my version of the pros and the cons i see about this weapon:

 PROS :D: 

1) Very good at mid-range places like the map Polygon.

2) Can deal alot of damage to a player.

3) Very high recoil to a player.

4) Can use the "tennis balls" to your advantage.

5) Can knock out enemy targets out of aim.

 

Cons :angry: :

1) Easy to dodge.

2) Never good at big maps like Sephov.

3) Charging the weapon can e a issue.

4) Horrible firing rate.

5) Can cause damage to self.

6) No techniques or skills you can get out of this turret ( That excludes the ricocheting the enemy)

 

So overall this weapon is a good choice for people who likes to waste their crystals on something that does do much good.

 

How I think the weapon should be like: 

 

It has to be like Shaft. To charge the shot by holding the space bar and release to fire it. That would make ricochet much more better!

 

For people who does not have this weapon, you really lucked out by the max!

ricochet is horrible.  1900 crystals for a piece of junk that sucks, and barely does any damage.  it is very overrated.
