But when its charge runs out, Rico is pretty helpless.

It's not that helpless really, it will only takes a few seconds to recharge and fighting them off at a comfortable distance. At close range however, it can be annoying with a Freeze circle you around but all and all it can fair better by itself.

Agree. Mostly you just need 3 shots more to finish off the heavy hull.You can just go behind cover and you don't even need to face the opponent again if you are low on HP, just bounce those few shots off some something.

 

And Halo you better buy some protection paint against rico coz I  have killed many twins  mammoth combos. :P

Ricochet is really good. Does well in all gamemodes and does exceptionally well with medium hulls.

Too bad there are now more people buying Spark/Desert due to it's power increase.

Those few seconds is enough for a Rico's demise.

At close range, it may be. But shots are easily recharge. Taking 3 seconds to recharge 2-3 shots. Enough time for you to recover and repel their attacks. Though a good Ricochet player should know when to attack and when to stop to minimize the risk of senseless deaths.

I don't know why people think Rico is UP(UnderPowered). Rico is a great turret but it surely isn't one for a less skilled player or a noob. It requires great skill and practice to be able to own the battlefield with Rico but if you don't have that much skill then it still is pretty effective in DMs. In my opinion Rico is best used with Vikings in DM mode while in CTF it is better to use it's better with hornet as the extra speed of the sports car helps to capture flags and get to enemies with long range weps while staying away from short ranged ones.

After the latest rebalance, ricochet is the most OP turret in the game, and its so annoying.
