dragon saves you from 1 shot every 4 of m2 rico :P

that is actually PRETTY cool!! i thought that this paint would only come into effect in the later stages. thats amazing!! generally it used to take six shots to kill my hornet but now its like 8. this gives u enough time to turn the tables on your opponent

back on topic guys....

You're going off topic too.

Anyway, M1/M0 Ricochets are no longer a problem when I use Desert paint. Mine's at 30% Ricochet protection. M2 still presents an issue, thanks to its high damage and massive knockback.

nope read my post. i changed it happy. do the same to yours also.

any paints in high ranks with ANY RICO protection? too much port against rico is not good as other weapons are neglected. zeus and clay paints are one of the all rounder protection but i dont think i saw rico there.

also, i think ur a candidate for a mod position. am i right?

The second half of my post was on-topic, so I didn't break any rules.

Anyway, to answer your question, you can get Spark (unlocked at Captain, maybe a medium rank paint) or Clay. Spark has about 35% protection, while Clay has 50% protection. There are plenty of other paints, like Taiga and Needle, which have about 20% Ricochet protection as well.

I'm not a moderator candidate. I'm just a reporter.

Please don't just say "ricochet sucks" or things like that, it's useless and practically flooding. (you're probably thinking that about this comment, but anyway.) Has anyone got any suggestions as to how to best fight ricochet?

Well, its pretty much impossible for a ricochet to aim at something far away when its moving. (I play with ricochet only, so I know this stuff) So what I would do is stay a safe distance away from it, and keep moving. Use a long range weapon (Smokey, Thunder, Railgun, Shaft, etc..) while doing this. Use a fast hull too. But the Key is to always keep moving, and keep a fairly large distance away from it, so it cant fire back at you easily.

That post you quoted was from 2013, when Ricochet was a lot weaker than it is now. A lot of stuff written on the earlier pages is outdated, just FYI.
