Why didn't you use Twins M1 or Firebird M1?

İ want to buy any of them for M2, but i didn't decide yet.

Um.. freeze and hornet m3. But since i have M3 freeze i'm looking forward to buy hornet m3 at a discount 50% as it costs 81k.

Go for thunder m2, it will last you longer, also, rico m3 unlocks VEEEEEERY late

comparing thunder and rico is very difficult... except for m1 as thunder is much better at that stage. if you take rico keep your viking and if you tanke thunder... then you're on your own. but if you are good with rail, thunder is better option

I did want thunder m2 actually, but i heard many veterans say that thunder m3 is pretty useless and underpowered at higher ranks, plus the many paints with protection against it, so getting thunder m2 is a dead end. I have rail m1 though, but the m2 upgrade doesnt really cut it for me, not that much improvement. Rico m2 reload is 0.55 sec for a bullet(~27 damage), on zero charge, so thats about 49 damage/sec, full load 10 balls= ~270 damage minus some if a few miss, pretty decent damage. Vik m1 + rico m2 isnt good combo, since rico has shorter range than thunder. I see a kit called boar, contains dic m2+ rico m2 is that a good combo?? looks like a cruel joke by the developers, dic is too unstable for rico m2, dic m2 is not popular and needs top rank for m3. Sandstone isnt much better than corrosion for twice the price, not worth, extra 5 % twins, 10% rail and 1 % less thunder. May get corrosion or cedar(if thunder m2).

thunder m3 is actually pretty strong! the reason for people saying that it sux is because the change between m2 and m3 is not as big as the change between M0-M1 OR M1-M2. i feel thunder is very op at these stages but equals out in the end. rico on the other hand, is quite the opposite of it (at least, so i heard from the so called veterans) as it is useless at m1 but picks itself back up at m2 and m3 stages. and personally, i wouldnt pick boar as it is pretty useles for a rico... maybe for railgun (because turret is place WAAY at the back).... also rail i think is pretty balanced at ALL stages... one shots the previous modification if it is a hornet.

Dictator-Ricochet is not to be underestimated. Dictator has a lot of health and decent mobility, which fits well with Ricochet. The turret placement doesn't really matter here, since Ricochet has good range. I've fought several M2 Dictator/M2 Ricochet users, and they were really, really tough enemies to fight. Somebody even managed to capture flags with it.

 

Hence why I'm getting M2 Dictator-Ricochet on New Year's. With a few MUs, Ricochet can take down M2 Vikings quickly and be able to go compete with M2 Smokies, while a few health MUs on Dictator will get it to the same level as M2 Viking.

The turret placement doesn't really matter here, since Ricochet has good range. I've fought several M2 Dictator/M2 Ricochet users, and they were really, really tough enemies to fight. Dictator may have more armor, but it is too slow to outrun freeze, firebird and isida, it is unstable when under fire from twins and rico and it's huge size and slow speed make it an easy target for rail, shaft and thunder. Go with Viking and Ricochet, my favorite combo.

Viking can't really run away from Freeze/Firebird/Isida either.

 

Dictator's large size never bothered me. To quote myself from a while ago:

^mainly its stability and size counts. in places like sandbox, you can use the tower to your advantage to hide from them tall hulls like mammy and dic and when you want to shoot, come out of your hiding place and destroy them. viking's flat structure allows for better stealth, slightly faster gameplay and a huge amount of stability.
