Certainly i am in love with rico, it has made my view in tanki an its turret use a different look to a new turret other then railgun and smokey which i like too but still i love rico :wub:  especially with hornet. :ph34r:

dont u make utube vids? and yes rico and hornet is awesome, especially if u are a rail pro... rail skills help alot in improving ur rico skills as well.

hwever a person who has never played with rico and is good with railgun will have a bit of a hard time with that weapn

Maybe that 1000000000 mile driven car has better fuel efficiency than your Ferrari.

 

Few people doubt that Ricochet is a good weapon, but you need to know that it's not the best thing around for any situation. You'll get outsniped by Railguns and Shafts at long range, outgunned by Vulcans at medium range, and roasted by Firebirds at close range. It has flaws like any other weapon, something I'm not quite sure you've realized yet.

i use it (m1) in rio and i can't remember the last time I was not top of my team. its good for capturing flags, its good for defending, its good for parkour, its good for flipping your teammates over to annoy them (not that i ever do that (definitely)  :P ) its just amazing at everything. i use it with hornet m1.

It has a horrid reload time, horrid projectile speed, possible-self destruction, and a horrid reputation. It's not amazing at defending, as i can use Clay or even Dragon and run away scot-free. It's not amazing for capturing flags, you can't hit multiple people at once, or even flip them over. It's not amazing at flipping people over, please tell me the last time you flipped someone over with Ricochet and video or .gfycat proof. And you're using hornet? If you don't turn your turret, the comment's pretty much invalid, as we'll assume you have a flawed understanding of the turret. I really should stop posting comments against these types of comments, until i find someone to pay me. Better than a job at CostCo.

I strongly dislike having to fight someone with this weapon, it is ridiculously powerful, an enemy with a ricochet takes down my M1 Mammoth in a matter of 3 seconds. It doesn't make much sense. I think a big problem is that they fire too many bullets too fast and add up damage I don't know how many hits they can get in but it can kill my M1 Mammoth it has 250 Health points at the moment.

A ricochet, unless a m4 version or drugging, is not able to finish your tank in 3 seconds. It may need a double amount of time (at least 6 sec) to kill your mammy. Also, it is very easy to dodge the shots of Rico with a light hull equipped especially a wasp. Perhaps you may want to mount your turret on a lighter hull to avoid your problem.

OK, how long does it take for a empty clip of m1 and m3 ricochet to reload? Also i think u can beat viking with hornet like health vs speed. I beaten a lot of vikings with my m1 ricochet  ;)

Ricochet's balls do about the same amount of damage of a Smoky shot, it's quite powerful and it makes me miss my shot(s) because of it -_-

Yes, Ricochet is a problem at M2 and above because you can't shoot back (aggravating Smoky users do the same thing -- I like to pop their little 'pocky pocky' heads off at a distance with shaft). I find that the only thing I can do is wait foir them to exhaust their clip, use Repair, then Pop them twice while they are trying to reload. Some keep firing slowly because they think the next shot will kill me.

I had the occasion to use Ricochet while my Shaft was sidelined due to bad code (aim circle offset) and a tendency for the turret to spin (more bad code). It was sufficiently powerful to dispatch a slew of Majors and Colonels in Subway. When they were using Rico also, my Desert paint proved much more effective than their reds and blues.

Hmm. Some tinkering with Rico may have been done to make it a mid-range weapon, leaving Shaft, Rail, and Thunder the only reliable distance kills, with Smoky seemingly upgraded. Rico now seems to shoot only about

60 to 70m rather than 80m as advertised. Hammer seems to shoot almost that far (with a nice deadly pattern, too). I ranged both at Monte Carlo to test and sure enough, the Rico won't go corner to corner much farther than 70m while Hammer makes 60m straight across.

if what u say is true, then they will probably mention it in vlog which is very soon or measurement is wrong, or maybe it was like that always. also how were u able to measure the length, because i do not know how tanki measures size and length of objects

Ricochet.Probably the best assault gun except maybe Firebird.

First,I was a ardent Twins fan but after that I saw the Way Of The Ricochet and chose this one.Too OP.BTW I use it with Hornet for CTF,CP and Viking for the other two.Love it!!

It makes Railguns and Shafts miss(that is, if you're at close range. If you're far away, well...),it kills Smokies and Thunders quite easily and it's also good for sniping Firebirds,Isidas,Hammers and Freezes .No need to tell the way it assaults Vulcans. Vulcan gets significantly more effective at M1 and up, you'll find that attacking them head first is no longer a viable option.

I like Ricochet just as much as you do, but you need to remember that it's not a do-everything weapon. Yes, it's incredibly powerful, but you'll still get outgunned by Shafts, Railguns, and Thunders at long range, equally matched with Vulcans and skilled Smokies at medium range, and outgunned again by Firebirds, Isidas, Freezes, and especially Hammers at close range.

Rico kills enemies faster than twins as long as you don't need to reload Ricochet too much to kill your opponent.
