My alt (@150010836) has Rico MU'd about 1/2 the way to M3, it's pretty darn powerful. I think I will continue MU'ing it a bit..

Garage description:

 

 

A gun that can be tough to control. Ideal for short to mid-range battles. Possesses a unique feature in that its shells ricochet off walls, allowing it to shoot around corners. Just make sure you don’t take a ricocheting round right in the kisser! Goes well with all hulls.

this is my second favorite gun. firebird m1 is better. as soon as i get warrant officer i'll get m1

Ricochet turns so slowly that it's hard to hit anything at all.

this gun is great m0 but pretty bad m1 m2. i always have loved this gun m0 it crushed. then after firebird m1 i bought it, it was bad a could get twice the points with the firebird. i then saw the m2 witch seems pretty bad unless you drug so i learned it isn't the gun for me. If i had a few cryteals to throw at it m1 or m2 i would do it but just if you get it don't be to hopeful!

This gun is great at ALL mods. But it just takes skill to master. Not quite as much skill as a Rail but this is easily the second most difficult turret in the game.

there are many good players like me who only use rico they hate the other guns and yea i have used them but i keep going back to ricochet ..

 

now i wonder what is going on with XT rico there is none and i hope soon they get it cause i refuse to buy till they do

I very rarely see Rico pros. I very rarely see Ricos other than myself. At M2 it is a very underused turret.

 

I think it is both overlooked and seen as weak. Most folks seem to want the widespread damage of firebird or the one shot goodness offered by Rail and Thunder. Or the infinite ammo of Twins. The prob with Twins though is that you need a fast hull or else your enemy will escape.

 

Folks forget that each Rico discharge while not lethal packs a punch in both damage and impact. Plus it does not reduce damage at range. And of course you can bounce shots!!!!

 

Right now I am alternating between M2 Rico and M3 Hanmer depending on map and enemy paints.

 

I'm not really interested in XT equipment. Same specs, different looks? Meh. 500k crystals??? LOL!

The damage actually goes down a bit at longer ranges, but not by a whole lot, and definitely not as much as Twins.

I think Rico XT should be a thing, after all, they've already messed up with Thunder, I think people view Rico as being on the same level.

Turrets-M3 Rico is locked in for me.

Hulls-M3 Hunter or Viking?

Paints-Savanna, Mars, or Tiger?

I play a lot of Noise so chose wisely.

I have it m1 and i love it I always use it with either hornet m1 or viking m1 i'm definetly going to get m2 when I get to that rank. Best turret in the game in my opinion

I was on the business end of a Rico M3 earlier today. It batted around my M3 Viking like a cat playing with a ball of yarn. Can't WAIT to get this turret.

What rank does the redneck kit unlock at? Ricochet M1 was good, but I find Ricochet M2 is too weak.

Redneck unlocks at Marshal giving you two early unlock ranks and a third regular rank before you're forced to battle Gismos. Good times.
