Has anyone used the minus field stabilization alteration on the Rico? 

What are your thoughts? 

Is it worth the crystals?

I have it on my rico and its godly,bought it for 50k didnt even wait for sales best decision ive made

if your talking about the 1st  module for Rico , yea it's great but don't waste your money / crystals on the second one , I found it harder to kill players and less chances of enjoying a battle..

guys whoever says ' ooo ricoo suucks ' he is wrong coz RICO ROCKS!!! it is my favourite gun but it needs some skill to learn thank god that when i was near WO2 i saved crys nd bought this gun ( m1  ) it is cheap  nd strong nd a skilled lpayer can use its ricocheting effect greatly ( for ex in fort knox da down side we can send i nrico balls without seeing nd it will surely hit someone

Thats one reason why I like smoky best, because of its infinite ammo.

Comes real handy in drug battles.

To be fair to them, rico has a very slow turret rotation speed.

Plus they might be lagging, which tanki devs can't fix, as usual.

If you are using your turret you are approaching the game the right way.

Been playing smoky for over a year now - half-decent with it I guess.

 

Just bought Ricco M3 and the alteration. On any map with right angles (angled walls become useless) it is pretty sweet.

Silence comes to mind...

 

And the learning curve for where to aim for a bounce hit... not bad.  Blind-luck hits come in handy too - you never know who's around the corner.

Should I upgrade to M2? ive seen it works well but not much better then m1 and I'm noob when earning cry (most ive ever had is 30k :() Should I save for?

Tried it there, but was a bit disappointed.  Lots of angled walls that cause the balls to head upward.

It's very small flat areas make it difficult.

 

Maybe i just need more practice... but - i do have more luck in the other castle (Cologne) with bigger courtyard.

It feels like ricochet has been nerfed? I haven't used it for a while but I MU'd it to 10/20 during the sales and it feels weaker compared to a few weeks ago.

A good combo for warrant officers ranks (Rico m1,Hornet m1Paint:Dirty).In my opinion ricochet is a good turret ,i respect the hard work of tanki online about this weapon.

Let's see: it shoots very fast, each shots does considerable damage, it has a long effective range,  it has a wide arc of fire, its shots can bounce around walls and thanks to that wide arc the computer will make sure bounces hit and potential unseen target, and it does so much rapid impact hitting that most targetts will not be able to shoot back. So yeah it's pretty good.

 

Unless your idea of "good" means "well-designed and balanced as compared to other weapons".

Its still one of the more dangerous turrets because of its very fast time to kill medium hulls.

Yep my ranked accounts who di dnot have Rico protection bought it at the last sale. When I converted a Smoky account it came down to Rico or Shaft. If you cannot beat 'em.... Anyway I went for Shaft and I am not sure that was the way to go. OTOH maybe it was. Either way I jion the League Of Overpowered Weapons.

Modules for rico and vulcan are probably the least common, but ricochet is still a force to be rockoned with, although people dont realise how epic it is.

Quite the opposite. At legend, you face ALOT of guys with Clay protection (that's 50% even without MUs)

Imo hammer is the least likely weapon to face protection modules in normal battles (along with magnum)
